I'm glad they aren't doing the origin story to be honest. They're Marvel's First Family, they don't really need much of an introduction. Them coming from another earth is a great idea but might backfire. Reed is going to be a fish out of water, but Grim is going to ground him like usual. Can't wait!!!
My assumption is that the footage from the in-universe highlight reel will be shown on a tape or tv screen and meant to be a reference to what their life was like before they got their powers.

If there was one issue from the 1980s that characterizes who the Fantastic Four are, it would be 236, "Terror in a Tiny Town." It does call back to how they got their powers, but doesn't overdo it. Origin stories usually suck. They made a wise decision not to do Spider-Man's for the umpteenth time. Doctor Strange in the comics had hit the ground running, so I felt they messed up by doing his origin in the movie. It's also not that great to see superheroes just learning their powers and how to fight; like practicing an instrument. Also, if you start with a really important battle that might have been led up to by two years of comics and years of training, where do you go from there? Like after Ares in Wonder Woman or after Dormammu in Doctor Strange.
They could still do “ council of reeds” with all the different versions of Reed from over the years with this version of Reed building “ the bridge “
I think Marvel blew their load on the council with Kang. It is kind of played out now. “Sad”

My original theory for Galactus was that they would turn him into Arishem's Herald basically. Arishem came to earth to place judgement, he deems earth unworthy / too dangerous, so he summons Galactus to come eat it. But maybe that could still happen. Maybe Galactus is sent to eat every variant of Earth
I don't see Arishem being that much powerful such he could make Galactus his herald.
He simply doesn't have it like that with Galactus.
Particularly since Galactus has fought at least one Celestial and defeated him.

I wanted Galactus to become Galactus at the end of F4 after the incursion hits, and has to devour alternate earths to be able to exist

Arishem and Galactus are sworn enemies. Basically opposite of each other. The Celestials create planets/life forms while Galactus destroys.

I know it’s a long shot but it’d be awesome if they reintroduce a 60s version Black Panther as a cameo or a minor role.
We'll see if they introduce other marvel heroes from the 1960s on their earth. I would expect at least a few to be mentioned during the movie.
I think that Reed Richard’s was perfect as John K…also RDJ is weird because he isn’t a variant I heard that turns into Dr Doom but actually Victor. So it seems like it would be just for more views instead of picking the best actor?

in one of the comics dr doom and tony stark do switch bodies. dr doom makes stark industries fail and tony stark makes his own company that is actually successful.

I kind of started to think that the F4 DID exist in the 616. When Dr Strange hits his line, "Didn't you guys chart in the 60s?" I initially thought it was a play on the Beatles being called the Fab Four. But now, it makes me think that he is actually referencing the Fantastic Four from HIS universe. Maybe they were a big deal in the 60s of the 616 as they are going to be in the F4 movie.

I think RDJ playing Doom can and should be used for a more interesting plot than just a "Luke, I'm your father!" kind of reveal. A reveal that would go nowhere, if Doom immediately negates it by saying he isn't Stark but Doom, that they just look alike.
The new Avengers aren't Tony's buddies anyway, so fighting a person with Tony's face would hardly cause a personal dilemma for them.

As someone who grew up reading fanatically FF comics I couldn't possibly be more excited over this project !! It's the very first ''real'' FF film with a realistic approach attached to it. Matt Shakman is a fan of the characters and their world, Marvel has full control over the team that launched Marvel Universe. Cannot Wait !!!!
