Battle Brothers - How to defeat the Kraken - The Full Monty

Imagine the Kraken, peacefully swimming in his beloved swamp, when a mob of angry nudists come charging out of the reeds and smash his head in. Must have been a horrible sight. Poor Kraken.
I based my builds for this run, and my strategy to beat the Kraken on this post on reddit:

His strategy was basically to hide his party away from the tentacles's field of vision for a portion of the fight. I took the same idea and did it a little different.
My strategy: The Full Monty - aka, the Naked Charge
Phase 1: Hide all your bros in the reeds except your Goblin Trophy Bait.
Phase 2: Have the Bait Bro drag all 8 tentacles to the edge of the map.
Phase 3: CHAAARRRGE!!!! Get out of the reeds and charge the head. Careful to stay more than 7 tiles away from the nearest tentacle, so they don't see your bros.
Phase 4: Once the tentacles go aggressive. Indom-cycle your Bait Bro (if you can, mine wasn't a tank so I had to shieldwall instead) and pray The Full Monty dudes finish the head quickly.
Ideally, you'd field only bros who have Indomitable and Pathfinder, and give the Goblin Trophy to a dedicated Tank since he'll have to hold the fire of 8 furious tentacles for a few turns at the end. Unfortunately for me, I only have 9 bros with Indomitable, and 10 without. Since we can only leave 9 in the bench for any given fight, I had to bring along one bro without Indomitable and give him the Goblin Trophy. He's ill suited for the job (he's my Dagger Bro, not a Tank) so he almost died and ruined the whole strategy. I tried having a Tank with the Trophy and the Dagger Bro hide. But it's hard to try to hide a bro without indomitable during Phase 1 of the strategy.
Other than my Dagger Bro, I had one more near death because one of my bros doesn't have Pathfinder. It was harder for him to maneuver in the swamp and hide. He ended up getting dragged all the way to the maw of the Kraken before he could free himself and hide.

Thanks. As I understand it, it's also important to not put your Goblin trophy guy in a bush since that will prompt all the tentacles to start looking and might end up finding your naked guys
