It's all about the mind games during the group activities. The one having the sharpest mind will be able to take the cake. You have to be very clear about when to speak, what to speak, how to speak and when not to speak. These skills need some practice. All the best everyone.
Yeah......I just wanted to hear this from somewhere...after contemplating a lot I also believe so.
Else SSB is nothing, everything is just so shady and also on the surface simultaneously.
One need to be cunning and sporadic. It will work perfectly well.

AFCAT(01/2020) i have been to Dehradun as a 1st time repeater & I cant believe how everyone started shouting I remained silent cuz Sir told its wise to be silent
Only mistake was i wasnt able to finish my story & the guy with most weird story concluded & got screened in

Sir, but we have to narrate the commen story to the officers, making eye contact with them
One candidate having chest no. before me narrated my story(He took a look at my story during writing story and i did't say anything because i was not thinking this kind of situation could happen) during pp&dt and i like what to narrate now. Still i narrated my story and my story gets nominated for group story and after gd I came to know my story was not mine It belonged to the candidate before me and he gets screened in and i got out. Now does this kind of mentality really justifies his mean which he followed?

Actually it still doesn't matter, what matters is your performance in OIR Narrataion and GD. Even though your stories were same but that guy would have performed better in OIR Narration and GD.

Yes it's okay..as in group discussion. The group story Is main issue not your story or anybody elses story .

Just read news paper editorial regularly. Go through current affairs. Try doing this for 2 months daily. You won't go blank no matter what.
Dont be blackout, just gave some factual information about your topic. In between, if u feel like having no more info about, just maintain your body language, confidence level and keep continue about giving the basic info only

Sir, I recently got screened out from 14SSB Allahabad. My OIR went pretty well and I'm confident that I've scored around 80-90/100, but my PPDT story was not well constructed...but in the GD, I narrated it with confidence and thereafter the group members chose me to conclude the final story. Is the PPDT story, that decided my fate? Please if you can reply. Jai Hind
I don't think so, because Exactly same thing happened with me in 5 AFSB Guwahati . I didn't complete my story on paper but I narrated it well and participated in GD effectively and I got screened in..
Same happened with me on recent date of 29 March .I got screened out from 34 ssb allahabad.
My oir was above 85 , narration was good enough and also participated in gd well but I think I had not perceived it well and that's why I was out. So it could happen
