31:03 in file option we have auto save option in which we can auto save the file and then the data will automatically be displayed in jupyter terminal.I have tried and its working fine.
Thank you for leading the way, for all the advice, for being a role model ❤ i still can't believe you provide so many valuable advices for free. Thank you so much. 🙏
Thanks for posting. Always interesting to see how others are setting up and using their VS Code instances for Python. I've just launched my channel and also uploaded a python intro video!
Not really. In most organizations, we use IDEs like VS Code. Plus it is way faster and easier to run code locally than on cloud. You can work, build, test and develop offline.
Technically they give same results. But colab would slow as it has run on the net and will have some limitations (like file management etc.). So using desktop setup is better. Also, when you do "real" work, IDEs are used more than collaborative online notebooks.
Bro, is it possible to get job as a data analyst with 3 years gap...? Iam MBA 2021 pass out... But due to some reasons i had worked as BDE in sales for 1.5 years... But now i have learned Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and python and ML in progress... Iam worrying about career gap... Iam losing my hope day by day... Even iam applying for hundreds of companies iam not getting any calls from any of the companies... Even I modified my resume according to ATS... But nothing seems to workout... Plz reply bro... Any suggestions...???
I am using Camtasia for recording and editing videos. This is a paid application. For screen annotations, I am using Zoomit (from microsoft sysinternals). This is a free tool.
@chandoo_ Tysm for the response. If I may quickly ask a follow up question, could you let me know your choice Windows laptop please? I've been struggling to choose one for a very long time. Just ordered a ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 9 but having second thoughts now since it comes with an Ultra U processor (which is not good for performance). Deeply appreciate your help.
I haven't shopped for a laptop in almost 3 years, so my recommendations will be wrong. I suggest looking for below specs: - Good memory (16 gb min, but more is better) - Reasonable processor (one of the new gen intels) - Ability to easily hookup extra monitor or two (data analysis is a screen intensive work) - Enough space on the hdd to store lots of data, install programs and run databases server Whatever checks these boxes and comes cheap, I would buy that.
Can anyone tell me where I can purchase the **stand-alone** Microsoft Office 2024 Professional (preferably Plus as it comes with MS Access)? Not the MS 365 subscription. Old guy here but used to be you could go to the store and purchase a box and it had CDs or DVDs in it and you'd install, then activate with a code inside the box. No more. Then you could go to Microsoft's website and purchase it and download it, install, etc. No more. Apparently we have to find someone to sell us the key? Also called Office 2024 LTSC I think? The stand-alone version which was recently released in October 2024 so its relatively new but I should still be able to find it. I was told to watch out for fake keys for $20. I expect legit keys to be several hundred dollars and that is OK. Thanks for any guidance on this!
If you search for buy Microsoft office 2024, you should find the purchase page. It seems you need to buy office and access separately (works out to be about NZ $250 and $200). Buy it from official channels (like Microsoft website).
You can use that. But you would need internet connectivity, the colab is slow (as your code has to run on the cloud) and has limitations on what you can do. In work, 99% of time, you code with an IDE like VS Code and build, test on your computer first. So doing like I have shown is a good practice.
Hi annaya, Ive a issue in ma excel, I have two tables, Each table consists of more than 4.5 million rows and 10 columns, I want to join these two tables with the help of related column named date, But in both the tables, Date column has more than one non-unique values, Like 1/1/2024: text1, 1/1/2024: text2, 1/1/2024: text3. So, no unique dates, How Ive to relate these two tables in data model
Starting my new data analyst job next week and getting this video 😅
Bro how you got the job 😂. All the best though 💪
Congratulations and all the best. I am also preparing for the same
Congratulations! Now the fun part begins! :)
First, thank you for sharing your knowledge. Secondly, you have great presentation skills.
wait for your next numpy, matplotlib videos related to data analysis. Thanks for this introductory video❤
I was thinking this today, perfect timing
I really enjoy this beginner course on python for data science. Keep going on this Chandoo you're making great videos !!!
chandoo sir, thank you for your valuable content. You really help people like me, a lot, I mean a lot.
Boom! Best teacher ever. Well detailed and simplify. Thanks Alot
Very glad that you have started the python tutorial
🙏👍 straight to the point and excellent teaching skills
Much needed here we gooo🎉

Do videos more on python libraries which is used for data visualization and data analysis
Thank you for leading the way, for all the advice, for being a role model ❤ i still can't believe you provide so many valuable advices for free. Thank you so much. 🙏
To the point very clear.🎯
Great work Brother chandu

Thank you finally you started a new topic. I learnt Python using pycharm. So i'll try Python in vscode.
I switched across from Spyder a few months back. VS code is pretty neat once you set it up properly and install the right extensions.
Very informative
Thank you so much Sir
Waiting for next video related to this topic
Great video. Can I ask what screen sharing software you use? It looks great.
OBS studio is the one I've been using for my videos (and is the one commonly used). It's great once you have it setup properly!
Thank you.
Is it free? Can we record?@@Dojo.FinancialData
Waiting for next part
Thank you so much sir ❤ pls make this type of valuable content
Thank you ❤❤
Waiting for this

Save the faff of setting everything up by using Google colab?
Not really. In most organizations, we use IDEs like VS Code. Plus it is way faster and easier to run code locally than on cloud. You can work, build, test and develop offline.
can you make a video on how to run sql in visual studio code
Hi Chandoo,
I have one query, When we have google Colab and Jupyter notebook, then why go with VS Code
Technically they give same results. But colab would slow as it has run on the net and will have some limitations (like file management etc.). So using desktop setup is better. Also, when you do "real" work, IDEs are used more than collaborative online notebooks.
@chandoo_ thanks for explanation

yeah i think u should add more projects to your resume , related to data analysis and give a try if not works then keep fake experience
The visual studio code website is not opening for me it says request is blocked
Amazing

Thanks boss
For new laptop buyers who are interested in Data work, would you recommend Mac or Windows? Thanks.
Windows. Most data work is done with other systems that rely on Microsoft infrastructure or software.

sir plz upload next video
Next part will be added in 2 weeks. Meanwhile, go and practice. Then enjoy life.
instead of installing all the things which took lot of time why cant we use google colab and code there

Create a third table with all unique dates across both datasets. Then use that to join both tables.
