Y'all and @bulbastore inspired me to do vendor POV's, and now that i'm back in the US, i film my first show this saturday and sunday! Continue to be awesome and just remember that y'all are models for how to do business in this hobby!
love the videos, but when y'all do a sale from the case that isnt easily visible, i feel like you should show on the screen what the customer purchased. the dollar amt is cool but would be nice to see what it was for.
Unfortunately we are doing the best we can with recording as much as we can, but at the end of the day, we try to be mindful of our customers time and not stray too much away from our interactions just for extra footage.
You are one of my favorite TH-camrs out there, I also do shows and I relate to a ton of stuff I see in these videos, especially the last part of 'only' having one display vs having multiple and growing. Keep going you two!!
We will not be at the Front Row Card show in Pasadena unfortunately due to some conflicts, but we definitely are aiming to be setup there in the future!
It happened in here many years ago, informed by one of the store manager that got cases from distributors, when he checked, the case contain wrong boxes
No offense, but why would you price the cards lower (even if it's cash) if the buyer didn't ask for a lower price? As a small business owner myself, It's just bad business and costing you a lot of money in the long run. Your margins are already very thin in the pokemon reselling business.
We value our customers and their happiness to the highest degree. Happy customers are repeat customers and that's essential to any business. A small discount can go a long way and it's not hurting our margins that makes me even think twice.
@@IntropyDR I understand that part, but for example, you had a card listed for $200. Buyer was willing to buy for $200. Your wife offered a discount of $175 since the buyer was paying cash. Buyer never asked for discount. Could have offered $10 off card and still gained a happy customer. Esp. Since you lost your job and doing this full time, you just cost yourself $15 for no reason. Makes no sense if buyer is already happy with the original price.
If your prices are right, and your buying prices are fair, you’ll gain a good following. No need to cheat yourself out of money by negotiating against yourself when the buyer never asked for a discount.
@@IntropyDR Not trying to bash you. Just giving some constructive criticism as a small business owner myself. Every dollar counts. Especially since you've been laid off for awhile and this is your full price gig, your margins are low. Say for example, the $200 card you sold for $175 without the buyer asking. That's $25. You keep doing this and eventually that's $250 gone from your pockets. It all adds up.
This is probably just a little thing but I love how you guys still wear masks while at these big shows, it's so important to stay safe at events like this. Love the video and your guys' enthusiasm and kindness!! Edit: I would love to also give you guys some art! Do I just DM you on Insta?
The “psa 10” and the “tell’em” part needs to be part of a rap. If anyone can make that part a rap, that would be fire 🔥🔥🔥😂

How many 151 boxes for $600 did you buy?
We purchased just the 4 boxes. At the time of the show the market price was $150 a box which was well before the reprint announcement.
4:29 Dont you open the seal and check what is inside ?
We checked it once we got home, but Christian is a trusted dealer whom we've done deals worth thousands of dollars with before.
