The grass isn’t always greener. South Carolina had several productive players portal out after last year, and they had abysmal seasons for their new teams this year. Good luck to these players.
@@ScottFisherCFB yeah nah frl the transfer portal been going crazy a lot of big time names transferring. Excited to see where everyone goes especially all the QBs like Devon Dampier Kaidon Salter and more
@@ScottFisherCFBwell it's official Darius Mensah is transferring to Duke, I find that to be pretty big news he had a fantastic freshman year with Tulane and Duke went 9-3 and next year if they keep making good moves I see them in a conference championship game
With almost 4000 players being removed from rosters, those entering the portal are taking a chance. I'm sure some are being told to enter while others are seeking more NIL.
Media never report how many players enter the portal and don't get picked up. It's an amazing amount. They lose their scholarship and home, medical care, and sense of direction etc. But no, you only hear about the success stories. They want you to think the portal is amazing. It's a shame the players themselves don't even know how much of a risk it is bc the of the narrative of the media
Please discuss David Oke from ACU! He tons of power 4 offers and was a massive reason why ACU went on a big run! If you watch his tape, its clear he has massive upside
Hopefully Barion Brown will come to the Vols! They have lost a couple of solid receivers such as Kaleb Webb and Chaz Nimrod not to mention the guys that will graduate this off season. This is a great opportunity for Brown to return to his home state of Tennessee!
Kromenhoek is not a huge loss for FSU since he's a pro-style QB while FSU really needs a dual-threat QB who can extend plays with his legs. That's why they picked up Thomas Castellano who was coached by Gus Malzahn who is FSU's new OC. The focus is going to be on running the ball first to set up play-action passes - something which Jordan Travis excelled at doing. This is another reason why FSU needs a dual threat QB to be a major part of the rushing attack. FSU's current portal class is ranked #5 by 247 Sports and the majority of players picked are the "big uglies" these are the 6-5 300 lb people movers to man the O-line. Together they have over 7,400 combined snaps in P4 games.
When these college coaches were looking for a big day, no one was complaining. Now that these student athletes are taking advantage of building their brand, people want to get in their feelings. Can't have it both ways.
Yes, coaches could.leave, but there were repercussions. There were contracts and buyouts. The players now have every benefit with zero responsibility. These players don't even have to finish playing a season. It wasn't fair a while back but it has swung way too far in the players direction. This isn't the NFL. People watch bc of the name on the front of the jersey not the back. College fans don't just switch teams. It's very slowly going to erode the fan base. We won't see huge results from this anytime in the next few years, but it's already slowly happening. Giving 18 year olds every thing they want isn't always the best strategy
All those espn rankings don't mean nothing if you don't get any playing time. Players stop going to those power 5 school. The money is there but your playing time is limited base on your position.
College football has become just like Minor League baseball. Teams rosters completely change year to year. This makes it hard for fans to feel connected with their team.
I think there should be a transfer limit you cant transfer more than 2 times unless some crazy circumstance. But its way outta control guys can transfer each year to the newest best nil offer ir w/ever. And im prettty sure they already plan to but i hope its sooner than later they cap nil spending and basically have a salary cap. Idk its great guys can get chances other places and teams can get players theyd normally never be able to recruit and get, but it is getting a bit outta control just a little. Who knows how much more wild itll get once they begin with the revenue sharing stuff
You've got it right 100%. I don't think players should have to sit out a year if they transfer but there should absolutely be a limit to two transfers for each player unless crazy circumstances happen.
@@AvrilAlvarez Why? A coach can change teams as many times as he wants with no penalty. Why should it be any different for players? And who is going to determine what is a "crazy circumstance"? It's not a very well thought out idea at all
Along with NIL, the transfer portal is the worst thing to ever happen to college sports. It is doing to college athletics what free agency has done to professional sports, particularly MLB. Best thing to happen to the players……worst thing to happen to the fans.
Stop saying “different level” when your talking about FBS schools, FCS, D2, D3 are different levels of football but Division one FBS teams are the same level regardless of conf.
It has always existed, its just legal nowadays and easier to do so. And your point is terrible considering this season's so good so far. Y'all mad for nothing, cmon move on bro
People get upset when company owners and investors 'make the bag' but have no problem when entertainers do the same thing. You CAN have your cake and eat it too, you just won't have it for long.

Their RB had an outstanding season with Memphis.
South Carolina’s running back literally transfered from Arkansas lol sometimes the grass is greener
w vid i didnt think malik murphy was gonna transfer thank u for the transfer portal news
The Duke QB decision is a head scratcher.
He'll be a hot commodity
well they got mensah
He’s betting on himself nothing wrong with that. Not comparing him to L. Jackson but he bet on himself ppl and so call experts was calling him dumb
He’s trying to make it to the NFL, while also maximizing his NIL
Schools better than duke already have a qb
Let's go!! Been waiting on more transfer portal news
its endless tbh. I could do 5 of these a day lol

I hope some of the smaller school get some transfers. It is a shame that the military schools can't use the transfer portal.
I don't think it's a shame at all since the service academies are so different from regular universities.

Where you see Bear Alexander going to?
Colorado lol
So long college football, hello NFL farm league
This is why small colleges will never be able to fully compete. Their best players will leave.
They get the star backups bruh
Yet it allows young athletes to maximize their earnings via NIL deals and enables them to make life choices that are beneficial for them.
@Dimezprodbacks ups are not stars chief
My point is that is why only certain teams will always be ranked and play "creampuffs".
And the transfer portal will be the demise of college football as we know it
What abt Duce Robinson?

Why does he keep saying “he will definitely probably play in the NFL? Is that sentence not a contradiction? Will he definitely or will he probably?🤔

Zero lol
Paying college players ungodly amounts of money is killing college football. Players transferring for the dollar is making the game unwatchable.
Unwatchable where… Ratings are up, excitement is up, the game is evolving. NIL will adjust to address the weaknesses.
It has always existed, its just legal nowadays and easier to do so. And your point is terrible considering this season's so good so far. Y'all mad for nothing, cmon move on bro
your teams must no longer benefit since it became legal, give them boys the bag man
I dont think so i like the idea of a cfb “free agency” and bro as much as it may stink to lose someone you cant be mad at them for wanting the bag

Makes me sick what greed is doing to the only sport left I love!!! Between this and NIL will surely ruin the sport if not fixed!!
James Williams is very overrated
