The National hurricane center consistently underestimate the intensity of these storms. If it becomes a major hurricane, category 3 or above, Houston's going to have way more rain than is projected.
@@thetruthfornow6045 a greater intensity storm is usually physically bigger with larger rain bands that could come in and hit the coast from further out at sea.
Highly doubtful it’ll make a last minute turn, but it isn’t impossible. For now, it’s just a game of wait and see (or predict wherever the heck it’ll do)
Hurricanes usually stay on a precise track, and if they do it is very very rare. Hurricanes usually take historic routes that past hurricanes have taken like the one you’re seeing now. This storm is mostly on Louisiana side, and may more than likely shift more on their end. Stay positive as this storm isn’t coming to Texas!! Stay Positive!!! 🩵🩵🩵
How do all of us in Houston keep bearing the blunt of all of these Hurricanes? We've got a lot of damage to our fences, house damage, loss of food, etc. Barely talk to insurance on the phone, because the lines are always busy. And, they don't wanna pay nothing for the damages, so I wonder if I am the only one with these issues in Houston.
No, Houston sucks, and anytime there is a democratic president they pump all funding to California, Chicago, New England, Philadelphia, DC, and the New York Tri State area.
Just when the state of Texas is recovering from Hurricane Beryl, along comes Tropical Storm Francine in the process. 🌀 🌧
Lake Charles getting hit again by a storm man Prayers from Southeast Texas
Thank you. I live 30 min. north of Beaumont. I feel so bad for Lake Charles. They keep getting direct hits. They are in my prayers .
I live an hour and a half north of Houston. We are going to get soaked!

Wind speeds have little to do with rain totals especially if the storm is hauling along.

But this storm isn't predicted to be that intensity so unless you have your own radar system then I'm just gonna listen to the experts.
@@JonnoPlays Beryl wasn't predicted to be as intense as it was, either.

Hopefully this thing doesn’t take a last minute turn. Houston has gotten more than our fair share this year.

For sure the one place not to hang out at would be Sargent Beach !
