Same here, I own a 2012 model, easily does 130+ ... My speedo indicated speed exceeded 140+ at a point, but I m sure there is speedo error involved.
Proud to own one 😇 Eventhough I have ridden alot of other bikes from similar category, but undoubtedly, the feel of riding an Apache RTR 180 in the city is something else. The punchy throttle and the throaty sound keeps the ride engaging and fun... Its a unique kinda feeling.

Tvs has now increased the power of apache 160 4v from 16 to 17.63 ps which results in increased top speed than the previous one.

My first bike was 180 2012 model. That bike had so much initial pickup, that these new generation bikes has got nothing. Only issue I had with my 2012 180 was massive vibrations in handle bar. I miss that bike.

I am from varansi last year I went to a trip till nainital. I own a
Dominar 400 but some reason I was not able to take Dominar to my trip. Then I borrow Apache 160 4v from my brother. When I reached the highway. Believe me I was shocked. Apache acceleration was excellent without any vibrations, and comfort level was excellent , comfortably I traveled till nainital without any back pain, and dominar have lots of vibrations and dominar huts my back and wrist.I forgot my dominar. From that time I love Apache.
Really dude? Was planning to go for dominar 250 but Apache also seems like a good option sure the dominar is more powerful but Apache has more features and also costs less.

@@lokeshmeena2454 I have used both apache rtr 160 4v 2022 version and gixxer sf 250 2022 version, and for me apache has way more less vibration than gixxer ! and gixxer sf and naked will give you back pain in long riding because of their inergonamic fuel tank size. For comfort and city and long rides go with apache rtr 160 4v and if you wanna race you can make some simple modifications to your apache to go more faster than gixxer sf !
My BS3 Apache 160 touches 130 but it's very unstable and has too much vibrations at that speed

Mine is a Apache RTR 200 4v ba3... And my top is 161 kmph... ❤️❤️ And I still use my bike from past 6 yrs... I really love my bike

I have a theory on Apache high speeds!
I have apache rtr 160 2015 model, in 2016 I took it to a high speed of 134kmph.
These rtr 160 and 180 are powered down deliberately so that they doesn't affect the sale of new 4v 160.
As you can see in this video 4v 160 went 130 however I claim my 2015model bike went 134 and it still goes above 125kmph till now.
So TVS has powered down the old look models which is kinda sad.

A bs3 well maintained carbureteted rtr 160 2v can beat all the models uptill 1604v easily. And can even compete with 2004v uptil 130 easily 😌.
However a bs3 2004v can easily beat the hell out of the current 2004v 😅.

i dont know about new aparche rtr 4 v , but 2008 model apache rtr 160 is super fast & acceleration. i have reach 3.8 seconds for 60 kms. and 20 seconds for 119 kms . and top speed was 127
