Video quality is good. You do realize the way you apply glue, (I think I saw you do the same in another video), by using your fingers, you give a whole new definition to the term: " Sticky Fingers"!
My buddy who got the truggy has had a couple tires starting to come unglued. My monster truck hasn't had an issue yet but he has ran his a lot more than me. It's his first hobby grade truck and he's been running it as fast as he can charge the batteries. He's actually been able to thermal the ESC. I've not even seen that happen on TH-cam test.
And this is EXACTLY what I’m thinking… I mean seriously. These tires side walls are definitely wayyyyy too thin. Hope “REDCAT” (…I should say HONG NOR/BSD RACING….) gonna react to this and improve it… Cause the wheels look great 👍
Interesting, not the first time I have seen this, um I glue them till they pop, lol I'm kinda cheap. But if my memory serves me correctly, I have to say it normally happens with old tires. However we are talking good old diamond dust the fact that a red cat survived it kinda impressive to me. 7:017:03
It's probably due to the fact that your wheels are punching through the inner side wall when you're landing off high jumps. It does seem like the rubber is too thin.
@@NayburhoodSnipa after running at Diamond Dust is when I started to notice the odd sidewall wear pattern. It could be similar to drag slick wrinkle wear type stuff
That looks like my GRP soft rim tires after 4 runs on my Felony. Maybe the plastic for the wheel is very soft and deforming ? I don't have enough tire experience to judge, though. I've gotten into only running AMain Hobbies Upggade RC brand tires on my 10th scale, too many problems with stock tires from Arrma. Aside from the BSI glue (which is excellent), Shoe Goo also works on outside of tires, which allows a little more flex than superglue, but i don't know if that would be a good or a bad thing in your situation, I'm just thinking out loud. 😮
Ya probably for what ya get for the price they probably cut some corners to make it so cheap ....tires so far i wonder what else hopefully nothing major.....sure u will find all the week spots in it....
Bro, I have some rubber infused tire glue that would fix that tire in a second!! The stuff works so well it’s not even funny. I’ve NEVER had it fail on any RC … period
In your opinion what’s the biggest difference between the truggy and mt I’ll bash mostly but I will run it on a track a little probably go mt in your opinion?
_It almost looks like an accelerated tire rot on a normal vehicle tire! Very strange indeed!_
*(I think diamond dust really did them in!)*
@@SOMNIOHM 👍💯 yes diamond dust is a very harsh place
Huge improvement in video quality ! Tires do look a little walled they seem to get the job done and they are not super expensive fortunately.
@@jeremystewart1785 yes for what they are they are just okay 👍💯
@@rcguygarage Always interesting to see how the factory rubber holds up. Or if they hold up.
