D was suspicious and believed that he was going to get killed while being lured into a building but he wasn't actually in danger, but when Wallace is lured into a building he's completely oblivious to the danger he's in and ends up getting killed. Cool parallel between the two characters situations and how they observe their surroundings.

I like Bey is so focused on the care of his fish & getting outta town, he's pretty much oblivious or gives 0 fuks to what Dee is thinking, even tho it's clear.
When Dee walks into the dark room, you hear this weird rumbling that sounds like ominous music but when Bey turns on the lights, you realize it's just the fish tanks filters whirring. Clever use of sound design.
