Please check into UMSS sustainable sprint cars. I built a winning car with $8500. We run a 9.5:1 engine on a carburetor. 500 cfm nonwing/ traditional engines put out around 420 hp. The wing class can run up to 750 cfm carburetor putting out around 480 hp. Same car, same engine, change the carb, left rear tire and maybe a bar and shocks, put wings on and bam! Two classes in one show. It boils down to $10,000 invested in two classes of sprint cars.
