Yeah, I’ve noticed this about a lot of the men that I know personally. It’s always extremities in literally everything. I’ve heard girls say to their boyfriend that he can’t be speaking to her disrespectfully because she won’t tolerate that (I.e. being mad aggressive for no reason/a petty reason, calling her out her name, etc) and I’ve heard them say different variations of “well I just won’t talk then” in multiple situations. Same applies to a lot of the behaviours that I’ve seen in men that I’ve met before. It’s an immaturity thing, alongside pride and ego (I think anyway). They think that by doing that , they can control the whole entire situation instead of coming to a mediation between themselves and a friend/partner/family member.
