I was given my best friends cricket when she passed and have no clue what to do with it. I mostly sew and haven't taken the time to learn it. This idea, Deanna, will get me started. I love the wedding idea just under my comment, have one coming up, perfect. It would also be perfect to go in the hanging organizer behind a vehicle seat or for a spot in the front seat. Perfect gift as well. My new favourite crafter right here!!!!! TFS
MY WORD...JUST MADE ONE...I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT😊😊😊🌞🌞🌞🌞thank you so much...i actually had dollar tree tissue packs...now i can put these in my craft fair in September. Love your tutorial🙏🙏
They are just so cute. I didn't have an oval die or anything I could punch out. I agree about punches. They need to come up with something that'll get in there for this or windows in gift boxes. I think I watched it backwards. I already saw the packaging and such a neat idea.
This is cute. I use my Brother Design 'N Cut, which is very similar to your Cricut. The boxes I make for tissues are tiny. Great for wedding favors for during the ceremony! I actually do use my Design N Cut to cut the little boxes... 2 to a 12" sheet. 😉
These are adorable! Just make matching chapstick and hand sanitizer to put with the tissue to make a very cute get well gift! You could even add a instant soup pack!
I am just over the moon with these Deanna. What a terrific paper craft item. I can't wait to make these. So glad I have another use for my Cricut. I love that machine!!. Keep going strong with your craft ideas. And thank you so much for sharing these adorable tissue boxes with us. Hugs to you!!!
Love your videos always! You demonstrate so much so succinctly with such generosity of spirit. I just love this idea! Definitely doing this! You were talking about cutters with a longer reach, I haven’t seen them in a while but I believe Martha Stewart and We R Memory Keepers each had punches that matched up using magnets so they could be placed anywhere on a sheet of paper. Martha Stewart used the same concept with stamps also. You might be able to find them on Amazon or EBay or there is a very slim chance they’re on HSN, that is where I first saw them years ago.
remember back in the day we had those acrylic shapes with the blades that ran in the tracks? red was close blue was med and green was furthest away I think? I STILL! have those, I.m a hoarder in my craft room lol and yes I still have the ovals as well as circles. Guess I will e getting those guys out hahahaha
That is just the cutest little thing! Can't wait to make one! I don't own a cricut. But I do have a bigshot, so I'll use one of my oval dies. Thanks so much for sharing this sweet little project! It's quick to make, and adorable!! Big crafty hugs! 😘 ~Suzy~
Oh question.. Actually 2. I created little boxes for tissues for my last craft fair and had to make adjustments because some of the little tissue packs opened at the top instead of the top middle... Would it be better just to create a "new slit" down the center of each one or just go with how I made them? My second question is, being that one layer is just going to be part of the top (Lid) to create a "Designer" look, couldn't you just cut that piece to be 4 1/4" x 2.1", that way you could save time by not having to score or trim it - just adhere it, on the underside of the lid... Wouldn't that work as well? 🤔
Great unique project!! So precious. So I have a question about finding craft fairs to sell at. In my area I keep finding large ones like hundreds of dollars a booth. I’m curious if you have a suggestion on finding more neighborhood type fairs rather than the bigger city festivals? Any tips appreciated!!
I just LOVE these. Thank you for sharing.

Super cute idea. Wondering why you don't score on the circut as well?
Maggie Ensley I do sometimes but I like scoring myself
Hi, to get the right tissue pouch size for the box what is the count/dimension that you should purchase?

What brand of glue are you using.
How much will you charge at a craft fair? They are adorable.
Dana Heatley I am thinking 3 or 2 for 5
What is link to other video for some reason I’m not seeing also what are thinking of charging and is there a good place to buy the tissues
Great unique project!! So precious.

Thank u but I don’t hAve cricket. Space
How do you score with out a board or cricut
You can use a bone folder (or back of a butter knife) & a ruler to make your score lines. Hope this helps! 😉
Dorothy cook-Boome maybe fold with the edge of a ruler
Thank you
I shared it to Cricut Facebook and Pinterest Credits to you
NonnaBeths Crafts2Be Thank you
What is 1.2 as a fraction?
1 2/8?
@@CraftyCraftsByDeanna 2/8 is 1/4 which is .25 , not .20. Right?

Since I don’t have a
