After playing both: For me Genshin has more aesthetic, better map details and brings me like a state of calmness that ToF doesn't give me because having mounts and infinite sprint is like you rush to places and you don't stop to admire the views and also in ToF the zones are much the same (Snow area looks the same all along the way). Better PVE and map completion ToF has better graphics, better fight system, PVP and coop world events, much better gacha (Got like 12 SSR F2P)
@@guddumorang5291its probably to make players focus more on a single characters instead of having to focus on multiple which will be hard for genshin since you have a limited amount of resin to get talent materials, artifacts, etc. Also it’ll feel more rewarding and surprising unlike TOF (I’m not saying it’s bad) but every ssr you get would just feel normal since you keep getting one often.
I really thought tof going to be genshin killer but I was wrong lol the game only fun for first week then it's become boring really fast. Genshin still got everything in terms of story, music, gorgeous map view, unique combat mechanic, interesting characters lore etc while tof lack so many things that there's no memorable moments about this game. The only thing good about this game probably because it's mmo and u can play with hundreds of player but since I'm solo player there's not really much things change lol.
you dont catch the most glaring difference in exploration QoL in this video. while gliding you can do 3 times dodge moves on the air, while in genshin you have to use xiao

Genshin is still the best even though it was released in 2020. ToF had their time to make it better even though they already copied materials from HI2. However, Genshin Impact will always be a story based game whereas they won't be making their combat system any better. ToF on the other hand have different goals, so they can still improve(?)

Tbh If TOF combat sfx is quite disappointing considering they went all out with the graphics/visuals and combat gameplay. Combat sounds like there's a pillow between your ears and the speaker. Bass depth is just non existent. I play with my Sound Bar /Headphones and it definitely takes away some of the immersion. I hope they'll improve on this department.

It's already fixed and the gold flame got restored. Also I got 800 worth of black crystals aa compensation. Genshin also had a buggy launch. Only day 1 players like myself know where the term apologems came from. Back then Mihoyo gives 100 primogems as apology everytime we encounter a bug in the game. The bugs ranged from minor to major gamebreaking bugs. Genshin was not perfect and still is not perfect. They haven't even fixed Xinyan yet comsidering she's one of the earliest 4 stars in the game. They also haven't fixed Yae Miko's clunky gameplay yet. They tried to but they just decided to rollback the changes which means she was back to her original clunky gameplay. Stop over hyping and overp praising genshin. Players like you are the reason why Mihoyoverse is so vomplacent and refuse to listen to the players coz you would lick their buttholes even when they're mismanaging the game.

About the gacha, in gen at least the 4star are useful sometimes even on meta, but for tof it seems like everything is about ssr, I mean look at the new character everyone is a ssr at some point getting a ssr is like getting a 4star in gen, since where I know the sr are practically useless especially on pvp.

Like I said its how you use combos ryt w the right set up relics card systems and equipment doesnt have to be an ssr. lol No doubt and argument aside ToF fun is very fun in combat situation. Just sharing our both opinions so i still respect your perspective. Just gtta have the brains on how to use their combat system u know and all the items relics combos aside. Its very easy to find a party in chat if u think ur hving a hard time doing bosses in open world map. U can trans to channel to channel btw. (if you didnt get an ssr, its either ur really unlucky or just didnt clear the map content in ToF. I have my 7 ssr as f2p player for playing the game)you should be getting around 5 ssr guarantee if you play the game.
Genshin easily better game in attention to detail, music, graphics, art, lore, character build, Multiplayer content is very poor ToF has better Multiplayer content, character customization but sometimes feels way to cheap plus main story sucks. They both need to learn from each other specially genshin on the multiplayer aspect as for ToF I dont think they will last that long, story and lore is crap.
