Congratulations guys, I've been following you since the first Shreddage and you've done something really amazing here. I grew up playing and watching Japanese entertainment, and this library seems to draw some of that magic that is present in my subconscious but seemed decipherable. I won't be able to buy the library right now, but I want everyone working on this project to receive their due recognition.
You guys should seriously consider making a series of these strings like pop/rock, solo or even symphonic. The lookahead engine is amazing and would be a shame using it in only 1 product!
It sound gorgeous I have no idea why this isn’t one of top string libraries- Like CSS,BBCSO & Tokyo Strings It’s a Much more nuanced timbre than the usual laminar smoothed strings sonically simplified for cinematic music. I haven’t looked deep into articulations - if it has the necessary ones and enough tweakability to deconstruct a martele into an accented staccato etc (And the short sfz played would be exactly that so I guess it does!)
Yes, in the Mic Mixer patch you can access just the close mics. But also in TSS2.0 we are adjusting the balance and making the Close mic even more close :)
I'm hearing tuning issues, unnatural releases, and a general thickness/blending that sounds like a workstation ensemble keyboard patch to me. I'm not hearing clarity and separation between sections... just one big string keyboard sound a bit on the strident sound. And is 14:04 seriously supposed to sound like real cellos playing legato? Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I'm not feeling this one. What am I missing?
Yeah, and i was kind of hoping for traditional instrument, but really this bank is nothing to amazing, in comparaison to a Cinematic Studios Series, or a even a good spitfire audio. Maybe the price is justified because there are lot of articulations, but still, meh. I don't know.
Yes, you're right, it's a lot worse than CSS&Chris HeinEnsemble Strings, the sound is very bad, and there are still many bugs that have not been solved, I regret buying this library
Probably the best string ensemble VST out there...
Ain't no best, just different flavours.
Spitfire Studio Strings aren't worse than this lmao

outstanding. well done to all involved.
I wasn't sold up to this point based on the other demos, but this walkthrough has seriously impressed me. Will be grabbing this!
I bet this will be useful for the film scores at the great sound like this.
Someday I must try that library.
Sounds VERY good and I do love the sound of Japanese Strings...Oh dear, another one on to the need-to-buy-list it seems!
wow, nice
The SOUND !
Very good !!! 👏👏🤩🤩
You guys should make a super long delay to have it automatically change dynamics to the timing of the held down notes
how to use the portamento arti? It didn't change anything , still sounds legato
Niceee … finally
Is there marcato?
I wonder if they will ever make a Tokyo woodwinds library?
Oh it's coming.
FOCK YEAH!
I want this so bad
I have it 😄
Is it possible to get the strings fully dry as well? Id love to get this if possible
