    This has been on my radar of projects to do for a long while now. Am hoping to start this year (finally) have saved all your videos for this for inspiration & instruction as I go along!
    Thank you for making & sharing the videos for this beautiful blanket.
    Even after so many years it’s still appreciated.

    THANK YOU SO MUCH. I am a novice crocheter and didn't think I could do this. But following your video and the time you spent explaining every stitch and round I have successfully completed Part 1. I am overjoyed. THANK YOU AGAIN.

    Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the free video tutorials you share. Your voice, speed and clarity make your videos so easy to follow even for beginners. Keep doing what you’re doing!! My sister, nephew and myself are co-owners of a small community market shop that attracts tourists from around the world and I’ve made the Elements CAL using your video tutorial and have it on display at our shop! The attention it receives is unmatchable! I cannot wait to finish this Afghan to display as well. I mention that it was made using your tutorial and hopefully it is fine that I share your TH-cam page with anyone who asks 😁 We have visitors from all over the world especially during the local Wharf Ray Rally held in Digby NS which is only 20 mins from our shop.

      So good to hear that your hard work get the attention it deserves. Your blanket is beautiful, I am sure.
      You are always welcome to share my crochet channel, it is for free and the goal is to help as many people learn to crochet as possible. So share the love I would say

    Hi! I saw another pattern you've done the tutorial for so I liked and saved it. Now I see this one and I'm in awe! I've subscribed to your channel and just ordered the pattern for Sophie. I know I'm really late seeing this, but I have to try it. 5 years ago I don't think I would have had the nerve to do this. Thanks to others who teach, like yourself, I've learned so much. Thank you so much for all the work you put into the tutorials. Also, a special thanks to the designers who allow you to share their gifts. You're all wonderful!😃

    In that 3rd row, after you make the first standing sc, to make the 1st dc which can be tricky to find, go to the 5th dc of the petal and count back. Easier, quick and takes the guess work out. Your stitches are perfect.

      Watching the video she said a dc before the fpdc, ch 2,dc after the fpdc, then going down hill so ch 2 and then hdc, ch 2,sc, then back up but she says hdc and does a dc 😉 . I caught it and I understand what she's saying so it's hdc. I will get the pattern as soon as I can get the yarn. (Patiently waiting for my spending money 🤑)

    I made this blanket for my granddaughter years ago. Now that she's turning 21 she wants to get a tattoo dedicated to me. I thought if I could find a chart for this beginning flower through round 5 it would be perfect! But I can't read charts, let alone make them! Does anyone know where I could find one? 🙏❤

    • @SuperRonnie1970
      @SuperRonnie1970 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are charts on the Sophies garden pattern because that's the one I'm doing, another idea would be to take a photo ( which again is on the pattern) and any good tattoo artist will be able to replicate it into a tattoo.

    Thank you so much for your help. I am also wondering about hook sizes. I like working with worsted weight and it has been suggested to start with a 5mm hook then increase to 5.5mm Any suggestions on that ?

    • @Itsallinanutshell
      @Itsallinanutshell  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you want to go up a hook size from part 7 or 8 because Sophie buldges a bit. Your hook choice seems appropriate to me.

    Hello there. I am working on a Sophie’s garden and am using a whirl. I don’t want to cut off I’m the yarn end of round 4. Is there any way we can continue with the same yarn without cutting? Ty.

    • @Itsallinanutshell
      @Itsallinanutshell  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes, in the written pattern by the designer she gives instructions per round if you want to continue with the same color

    • @amandas5303

      @@Itsallinanutshell no it doesn’t always. the pattern says to cut in this instance and reattach. which is why i asked the question.

    • @Itsallinanutshell

      Sweetsimple kay The sc in the middle is a front post, so this is worked from the front around the entire stitch post. The other stitches are regular stitches.

    I have a question I'm using 8 ply yarn I think you call it light worsted. What hook should I use. I'm using a 3.25 but it seems bigger than your work.

    • @Itsallinanutshell
      @Itsallinanutshell  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      you can best use the hook size recommended by that yarn-wrapper as your base hook. Then go up a hook size from part 4 onwards.

    Hola, muy bien explicado todo, pero tengo una duda, al inicio de cada vuelta me he fijado que las colas de los hilos de la vuelta anterior ya no los tienes, ¿los escondes de cada vez? ¿podrías mostrarnos cómo?
    Gracias por tus vídeos, he aprendido/recordado varios trucos.
    Hello, very well explained everything, but I have a doubt, at the beginning of each lap I have noticed that the tails of the threads of the previous lap no longer have them, do you hide them each time? Could you show us how?
    Thanks for your videos, I have learned / remembered several tricks.

    • @Itsallinanutshell
      @Itsallinanutshell  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I start each round at a diffent point, that us why you don't see the yarn tail. I work the tail away by working over it in the following round.
