It focuses on all aspects of 'Essay Writing' which is one of the compulsory papers of the CSS Exam. The essay paper has ten topics for writing an essay. The candidate has to choose one of these ten topics. The candidate has to make an OUTLINE as well as write a COMPREHENSIVE ESSAY of 2500 to 3500 words on the topic.

Essay on Fahrenheit 451
It is a universally acknowledged fact that the complexity of one single problem can further initiate more problems, creating a dilemma of misunderstandings and issues in a society. The Book "Fahrenheit 451" is based on a conflictual and contradictory society with different kinds of people living in it. One of the major questions that arises while reading the book is that why do the characters focus on the desensitization of the society they are living in? This refers to the problem that has been mentioned in the book, which is that limiting people's ability to think and act while convincing them to isolation from each other has damaging consequences. Thus, it is understandable that the main problem in this book is that the government has banned the individual's independent thought in favor of a society that is alienated and isolated.
Nowadays, the people and their communities face the same problems, including the issue of people becoming isolated and not allowed to think 'out of the box.' This refers to the fact that the society becomes more backward than the rest of the societies as is stated in the novel that books are banned, and firefighters burn books they find. (Bradbury 1953) Also, alienation has reached its peak in the societies, and the people only watch television, having no connections with the outside world. It is stated that this problem not only affects the individuals of the community but has a negative impact on society as a whole. The people are suffering from remaining backward while at the same time, the rest of the world is transforming into an advanced global platform. Similarly, the problem in the book is that the culture is slowly fading away, along with losing the forces that lead to advancement and growth, including the exchanges of ideologies and other ideas through human interaction.
Moreover, it is important to understand and assess the relationship between individual and society. The relationship between both is ultimately one of the major problems of social philosophy because it requires the question of values. This is an issue as every individual is unique, having a unique way of thinking. Therefore, the values and ethical grounds have to be followed by individuals. But the government has to respect the value of individuals about the society. This problem further leads to a contradictory stance on the concept of man vs. society, which has been pointed out in the novel as well. According to the scholars Anayet Hossein and Korban Ali, the question of the relationship between the individual and society is related to the question of the relationship between man and society. (Hossain et al. 2014) Therefore, both of the two aspects depend on one another and have a mutual relationship. The major issue is to see the importance of the individual in accordance with society. However, in the current period, due to the state's self-interest, the values of individuals have been lost.
Furthermore, while reading the book, the audience feels sympathetic towards the daily lives of people living in that society, as they are forced to think in the way the government wants them to. Here, the author tries to play with the minds of the audience by stating the reality of the society in a way that the people feel sorry for themselves and for believing in what is really happening. The audience remains helpless as they cannot do anything but keep the whole situation in mind, leading their intellectual minds to think of the characters who are facing troubles in their lives. The author appeals to pathos and logos of the current problem of man vs. society, and the audience is persuaded by the author's arguments. In addition to this, till the late 19th century, it was recognized that the individual was the solid reality of the unit of social life, while the society was just a terminological contrast. Therefore, society is considered to be nothing more than the people who compose it. (Wirth 1939) The audience understands the problem that has been raised in this matter, as the people influence the society and if they are forced to live the way the government wants them to, the whole society will be affected negatively.
In addition to this, throughout the novel, the audience gets to know the issue that passive lifestyles that are devoured with the advanced conveniences such as televisions and cars can erode our culture, our emotions as well as the critical thinking. The author emphasizes on convincing the audience on making the people reflect on the importance of books and the ideas that are derived from them which shape the human lives. In a similar context, these days, the people are consumed in their own lives and have little respect towards knowledge gained by books due to the convenience of technology and the internet. This is a major problem that needs to be solved through the revival of the methodology of reading books. Also, through governmental laws, the government has the job of protecting violations of individual liberty as well as power generated through despotic means. Where no such body is available, the individuals are deprived of this kind of protection, and they must obey without liberty, while those in power command under a state of license, which in this case is the government. (Regina 2018) This tells the audience that the individuals are treated in a damaging manner, according to the interests of the government.
The consequences will remain damaging if this problem of man vs. society isn't solved, as it has an impact on the whole humankind. The individuals should be given their rights to think the way they want and to act according to their own needs, but with respect to law. Also, for a society to thrive and survive, it must allow its people to think out of the box and give ideas. The problem here is that there are gaps within societies but these gaps need to be reduced in order to increase the values of individuals in relation to the societies. Also, the importance of books needs to be seen by the audience as the author also has highlighted the importance of critical thinking along with the crucial need of reading books to get a successful and advanced society. Hence, the book "Fahrenheit 451" is about a man on a quest to conquer his oppressive society in various ways.

Can we say that conclusion has to be written in such a way that even if the reader hasn't read the full essay and has just read the conclusion will understand at least the essence of the whole essay.

i have a question .i request you please answer me ,its put me a tention .i am grauguated and i want to appear in CSS . but one thing is very scare me .i have a hepatitis B for up to 10 .i take regular treatment for 1 year .but still its a positive .the doctor consult me that its no problem ,once you have a positive they never become negative but you keep in control .
