I live in SF & work w/ a lot of the public. I had spoken to a few people the day after the last A's home game in '24. It was really sad for the city & fans. There' was even a really cool cap that had the elephant from A's w/ a "Sell" embroidered on top.
Fact: The "Roots" soccer team has bought the parking lot & could be a great way to grow for Oak. btw the "Warriors" were originally in SF.

Jesse Waters Became famous when he was caught on camera ,as a Fox news producer, attempting to encourage a crowd of onlookers to cheer and applaud for some Republican politician that Fox was delivering a remote report on. I dont remember who the reporter was, it might have been Bill O'Riley, but they go from the studio to the remote and the reporter is standing with the politician holding a microphone and there's this young idiot producer, Jesse Waters, in the background waving his arms like an albatross attempting to get the crowd to cheer and applaud for the politician. It was a bit of a scandal at the time as here was clear evidence of Fox creating fake news of an enthusiastic crowd for a Republican.
Of course Jesse Waters makes an on-air career out of it and Fox lets him do it.
