    Reminds me of an Album fish the way the deck foam gives way to the rail. Good to see you on lower volume board! Looking good!

      Thank you! Yeah, more shapers have started shaping similar deck profile .. esp with the beak nose to give more foam up front and make surfing easier 😁

    Stoked to see this board on your review! I just bought a 5'7 21 2 1/2 a couple days ago and had a blast on a point. I agree, the quality is very high, and a very fun balance of performance and ease of use. The deck is definitely thick, mine feels at least 34-35 L. I am using the machado quads which are definitely working well, and I think make sense with the board but maybe will try it as a twin at some point., hopefully split keel too. Thanks!

      Hey Julian! Great to hear! I surfed Lovelace Keels as a twin and to be honest, I had a lot of fun despite some moments when I felt I’m losing control on some turns.. the pay off was a lot of freedom, speed and quick redirections when I wanted .. it was so playful! I’m gonna try to hit the point break this weekend! Thanks for watching and wish you more good waves to catch on it🤙🏼

    Great review, thanks again! Would you be able to review a Christenson fish?

    Sorry if this is a personal question, but what do you do for a living? Only asking because I’d like to own as many boards as you one day lol

      I work as a Helpdesk support specialist. I sell boards from time to time to make a room for some new ones.

    How did the amount of liters feel for you? Do you think going a couple of liters up would make a significant difference in the ride and maneuverability? Any pros or cons on going up?

      It feels so responsive with these dimensions. If I had a choice, I would definitely bulk it up a bit haha. I would keep the length the same or go 5'6" but make it slightly thicker. I don't think you would lose a lot by going slightly beefier. You would likely cover more conditions especially on smaller days. It doesn't go well for me when it's 1 ft.. I need at least 2 ft with some push to get it going. Hope this helps!

      @@SkipperSurfReview that’s super helpful, how many liters would you bump it up to?

    Is the Davey Sky still your favorite groveler?

    • @SkipperSurfReview
      @SkipperSurfReview  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it is.. specifically for tiny waves! It can handle fun 3-4 ft. but if it gets too steep, it becomes a challenge. I recently got CI G Skate for small waves and also when there is more size. That's been my favorite lately. I love to surf the Quad Fish when there is 3-5 ft wave out there.. Cheers!

    Looks like a seaside?

    • @SkipperSurfReview
      @SkipperSurfReview  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Kind of... Quad Fish feels more agile with more performance. I would use Seaside between 2-4 ft. Simon Shapes Quad Fish can be surfed easily in much bigger waves. We have more another swell coming , I hope I can get out and surf it! Cheers!

    There ya go back to the fishes! You look way better surfing that than the Mini Simmons.

    Seems like Love Machine Will fish..

      I was waiting for someone to mention it. It does have something similar. The Will's Fish has more parallel line and less curvy as Quad Fish. 5'6" Will's Fish in Varial foam would be nice to have!
