    I was interested in the busman monopod but not for $300, that is just crazy money.
    I also have stopped using the normal go pro screws for the chin mount on my motorcycle helmet for my hero 10 I just found small bolts that work makes the whole form smaller and more secure. Worked great for my last few go pro’s in the similar set up.

    How do you connect the GoPro max directly to tv to view videos without editing?

    • @EatSleep360
      @EatSleep360  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The only way to do this is to use Apple TV and cast your phone to your tv and then play the video from the GoPro app. Not ideal but the only way I can think to do it without editing.

    If I want to go on a long bike ride and all i want to take is the surrounding scenery with perfect 360 view potential any time in editing..with NO objects such as camera in the view what is better? GoPro Max or Insta300 X2? And what is the best height off my helmet needed to get best results? Im debating what 360 to get.

    • @EatSleep360
      @EatSleep360  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The one x2 is more compact and will give you a better stitch so everything will look aligned most of the time. It does feel more vulnerable than the Max but is a better camera in my opinion. Insta360 always update their cameras and have more features. The Max is more robust, has a better screen and looks more like an action camera but they have only given it one big update in nearly two years. To take in the scenery you can put it on your helmet and don’t need to raise it. If you want shots of yourself as well though it’s best to put it on your handlebars so you can switch between you snd the scenery. Some people prefer the Max so definitely watch a few videos and hop onto the Facebook groups. I made this one comparing the one r to the Max th-cam.com/video/kGyE5_XDQe8/w-d-xo.html - the one x2 is better than the one r but this video will help you evaluate. Hope this helps.

    Hi
    I’m looking at getting my son the GoPro 360 for his cycling videos, to make it have the effect of following a drone from the handle bars would you use the Manfretto Mount with a selfie stick attached? Does any selfie stick just screw onto this mount? Thank you 🙏

    • @EatSleep360
      @EatSleep360  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes the manfrotto super clamp is quite big but is the most stable. You’ll need to get a 1/4” thread spigot adaptor as well. Any selfie stick will screw to it but don’t extend it too far, it’s safer on a shorter length.

    What is the best way to mount onto a helmet with no vents? For ski or snowboard for instance?

    • @EatSleep360
      @EatSleep360  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Duncan, I’ve used the climbing bundle from Insta360 and it comes with a strap that goes over the helmet which is good and I used that for skiing - not sure if you can get it cheaper elsewhere - definitely wouldn’t use a sticky mount

    Hi is there a mouth piece for kite surfing for the max.?
    Thanks

    • @EatSleep360
      @EatSleep360  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure there is a specific max mount but you could just use a standard GoPro mouth mount from Amazon - the problem you will have is the stitch line will not be very good looking back at you. If you just want to look outwards a chest strap mount might work better. Also a wrist mount is worth trying as this would allow you to look at yourself and at the kite etc

    Hi I have Question, I have tried insta 0ne x 2 and then insta one x3 but always found them hard to operate during motorcycle rides. Plus always have some fish eye on them So i bought thE gO pro hero 11 which is great its so much easier with a gloved hand to stop and start whilst riding.I am suffering with the way to show myself riding and talking i have th pride 2 n=mic and the mod improve set up but when it pisses it down i am not waterproof. Anyway im thinking of buying a go pro max mounting it to my bike handle bars facing at me and then th ego pro 11 mounted on my chest jacket zipper some how a rod leave mic into my open face /flip helmet which will then talk to the go pr 11 and then I hope i can in edit put some of me facing from go pro max and then hero 11 footage together to create a better video. QUESTION is IS THE MAX a good camera for me to use people say you can't edit from them? I use WONDERSHARE paid edition i see to get on with it better than Final Cut any help welcome.... thoughts

    • @EatSleep360
      @EatSleep360  ปีที่แล้ว

      The GoPro max is a great camera but the editing is a pain as you have to convert the files before being able to edit them in adobe premiere. It may have changed so double check. The easiest way would be to edit the files on your phone and then transfer to desktop to cut them with the GoPro 11 footage or just join them in the Gopro Quik app. The x3 has a lot more features and it has a desktop editor but you’ll still have to join clips in another editor as it’s very limited.

    What is the best attachments to use for a theme park? Im thinking of using the selfie stick to film us while walking, but while on rides what can I use that will capture the ride itself and my kids faces?

    • @EatSleep360
      @EatSleep360  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Check out my review on the X3 as there are some theme park rides in there so you can see the type of shot. In the UK you are only allowed to use a chest mount and the camera is very low angle on your faces but it’s still a fun shot. You might get away with a chest mount and tiny extension arm which will help you get a shot of the person next to you more easily. By the way you don’t need to buy an insta or GoPro chest mount the third party ones work just as well. Hope this helps.

    I love the GoPro Max Grip as it is almost perfect. The only problem I have with it is that the handle part is a little thick so your hand looks really cut in half in 360 mode and it's extension is JUST a little short of what most of us would prefer in a 360 stick.
