They start out yellow and fade to purple as they heal they don't turn purple immediately after a day after you receive contact on the spot. And if you bruise your neck you damage your veins and vocal cords in your neck making it nearly impossible for you to move your neck and to talk. Also she said this happened to her 2 days ago. If it happened 2 days ago it would not start healing and turning yellow. Also a bruise this big would cause a certain amount of pain that could be to much to handle for most people.
