I voted for Masaomi too (in a separate comment)!! He seems so down to earth, sweet, and caring. I think Ema would appreciate that after romancing Tsubaki, who is a handful. I really like Tsubaki's arc in this game, though I feel it's reminiscent of a lot of "twin brothers" story arcs, where one or both must carve out his identity, separate from his brother (with the added bonus of resolving an inferiority complex and also the continuing issues of Tsubaki's "performance" and "performative behavior"). It was still sweet to see Tsubaki and Azusa making up and acknowledging Ema's part in Tsubaki's newfound confidence. And that kiss at the end!! That love confession!! Totally perfect for Tsubaki, even though Ema seems a little hesitant and didn't say "I love you" back to him. I look forward to his epilogue. With the endgame in sight (not even halfway through the video), I'm surprised that the game deviates to some scenes with Yuusuke and Fuuto! I find it funny that Yuusuke's so bold and loud, but seems to get really shy around girls easily. He blushed around Mahoko too. It's very cute. Fuuto is, well, predictably, Fuuto. Lol I thought it was very kind of you to "time-travel" so many times to get Masaomi-nii something he really, truly wanted. I hope there are enough votes for you to play his route next!! I also appreciate you consulting a Japanese calendar to tell us about the 4/29 holiday!! It's always neat when games include stuff like that baked into their gameplay. Oh, and I like that you put in an explanation for the word you didn't know!! 四六時中. Weird, seems like the more standard phrase has "二" instead of "四" for the beginning kanji. I guess it's because Tsubaki's so extra Ema thinks his behavior warrants the more intense phrase assigned to it!! We've seen this before, with Ema characterizing Tsubaki as such.

I'm honestly kind of sad to see it come to an end, though I've been anticipating the ending for so long. Honestly, thank you _so_ much for playing, recording, reading, and translating this game for us! Your content is truly everything and you never fail to make me cackle when you make a comment outside of the script 😂 you're just so much fun I honestly found Tsubaki's character and arc to be very enjoyable. It's honestly very hard to pull together a character and an arc so complementing of each other, and then tie everything together so cohesively, but that's exactly what was done. The game implores you to look deeper into Tsubaki's "cliché" character, and then effectively answers any conclusions you might have drawn about him in response. I think it's really cool how he's personified as the obligatory flamboyant and ultra-meta character, but then that's complemented perfectly by his profession and the character of Azusa. I don't think that I'll type up a whole analysis today, but the combination of those factors gave Tsubaki a pattern to be challenged both by the plot and by the MC. I honestly often found it hard to see what Tsubaki saw in the MC (who I will admit had more personality than in the Animé, though I never finished it), but she played her role to Tsubaki well, saying and being what was suitable for her to say and be for him to achieve his full character (seeing as the story was really more about him than the MC because the MC is just the player lol). Everything that went down with Azusa _seriously_ challenged Tsubaki's pattern, too, in a masterful way. He was forced by his circumstances and encouraged by the MC to come to terms with the complex that he adopted in response to what was probably a long-standing fear of comparison. What, with having grown up attached by the hip to a twin brother and then entering the same, incredibly competitive career that seriously demands a distinct appeal. Azusa's condition also helped him to come to realize just how dependent his health was on that of Azusa, which served to keep him cognizant of his adoration for Azusa and not harbor any bitterness towards him in response to his newfound self-awareness. And finally, Tsubaki breaks his pattern where he'd found himself comfortable acting like a character (you know, the obligatory flamboyant ultra-meta) because he feared his "self" (this is what I meant about the story answering the conclusions you might have drawn -- this was mine, as I'm sure were many others', so I was pleasantly surprised to see it finalized). Because Kayla helped him to see just how important "Tsubaki" was as his own distinct voice, Tsubaki would now be comfortable enough around Kayla to be "Tsubaki" all the time. He unlocked himself through his passion and tbh, that's beautiful. Not to mention, flamboyant ultra-meta Tsubaki was also comedically effective 😂 Sorry for the essay, but all in all, this was a great route and is overall a great game. I haven't felt this impressed by the well-roundedness of a dating sim in quite some time. Even though I'm still 🥴 at the sibling factor, that doesn't derogate the excellent storytelling. I honestly wanted to see Yuusuke because that man is hilarious, but I see we've already decided on Masaomi and frankly??? I'm not complaining at all. Masaomi is literally like 🥺🥰 I hope, though, that they handle the age factor realistically! A relationship with a like 15 year age gap looks different from a relationship with a like 5 year age gap, so I hope that they're honest about that. I'll revisit this point later down the line to see how they did, lol! Okay wow I've gone on for a long time, but all in all, I've loved going through this series with you since the beginning, and though this is a bittersweet moment, I can't wait for the future 🥰🥰 as always, I love you, and I love your content!!
