I think I know what this is about. I m holding to someone that doesn’t reciprocate the same feelings. The more I try to control the further it moves away from me. It’s not for me even though I want it so bad. My past disappointments have made me bitter. But it’s not fair for the other party because they don’t like me. So I just think I’m better off riding solo. Because like you I also don’t want to be forced to take something that I don’t want either. So a lot of this projections on projections (psychologically speaking). Thank you your word has helped me understand this from a different point of view. I’ve released my pain to God, and he delivered a message to me saying that not everyone will find love, and it’s ok because life is more than finding a wife and having children. And then it all clicked. I used to be angry at God because my outer aesthetic was not pleasing to women. And I believe now that God did this so that I focus my energies on things other than finding love. Because I know now that love is just not in the cards for me. It feels like the pressure has lifted off of me and I can focus on my own self improvement not to impress women because I know in my heart that I’m simply not good enough to get the type of women I want. Thank you Maureen for helping me understand what my purpose is.
