The people are hospitable & the food is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! If you ever get a chance to visit Turkey, go to Izmir, (as well as their closest beaches in Çeşme, which are amazing and known for their thermal springs). I try to visit every summer (best time of year to visit the west coast of Turkey).
I was 2 weeks in Bitez beach in Bodrum last year and visited Ephesus too. We had an amazing time!! Everyone was mentioning to visit Izmir which was not that far! Next time we pay a visit to this beautiful city . We love Turkey and their people.
