I always had a feeling that Myst was gonna come back revealing his Dark Aura still lives inside Hyunkel. Thus later leading Hyunkel to possess the power of both Light Aura and Dark Aura together at full potential instead of having only be able to use one.

@@sagnongemini6527 His best choice was Lanhart, but Myst thought out of impulse and choosed Hyunckel because he though that because he trained him in dark arts, it would becomr an easier prey, however, like you mentioned on your comment, he overlooked the fact that Hyunckel had vanquished the Dark Touki before when he drank the Dark Chalice. Now Myst knew he wouldn't be able to possess Avan, because he is an expert in Light Magic and Avan could had killed Myst with anything from Mahokatori or even seal him within a magic pipe. Crocodine, Hym and Chiu were definitely not an option since they were weak already

His plan was destined to fail anyways. Myst forgot Hyunckel already saw through his dark touki possession technique. Do you remember where Hyunckel drank the Dark Chalice? He already possessed Light Touki enough to destroy darkness, so Myst overlooked this in his obsession to possess him, and he paid the price. Kind of when Thanatos in Lost Canvas possessed Sage, but he had the mirror cloth and he pulled the little box that sealed Thanatos soul in it. Ironically, both seiiyu were done by the same actor 😅
