This song is soooo beautiful in its´ simplicity. I have just loved this song ever since I heard it for the first time back in 1972 when I was just 10 years old. Initially, I thought the performers of this beautiful song were foreign, but I later on learned that they were Icelandic and I was amazed to learn that. One of the most beautiful Icelandic song of the 1970´s. Thank you for this beautiful song, Magnús and Jóhann.
My friend that was stationed in keblavik first gave me a cassete tape of u back in the mid eightees...I really like your style, and this was one of my most favorite of all! ya i am amerikan-so of an icelander but he was born here in the states too, but it is great to find this old stuff on you tube!!! takk and bless!!
Hi Kris, nice to hear from you. I worked at the naval base for a few years. It feels kind of strange that the base has closed, a little too quiet, after having grown up with the jets in the sky, I especially miss the radio. You can read back issues of The White Falcon (newspaper issued on the base) on timarit.is best regards, Johann
