I like how the song builds up emotion that a lot of us can relate to. Then finally, when the instrumental part starts, "Darating sa buhay mo pag-ibig na laan sa 'yo at mamahalin ka niya nang higit sa maibibigay ko" gives a lot of hope and makes you understand that it's probably not your time yet and just be patient. This applies not only to love, but to a lot of things in life.
Oh my heart! I did not know the back story of "paalam na." Nakakaiyak pala solid 😢 All i knew is i like that song when i was in 6th grade! And i so love Ms. Rachel! ... Glad to know also that Jane Provido is soaring high as a performer in the US. I used to call her my kambal when we were in highschool bec our birthdates are 1 day apart. Thank you for this podcast video! More power!
I loooove Rachel Alejandro❤ Noon pa man super fan na talaga Ako ni Miss Rachel and also her best friend Miss Geneva Cruz❤ I remember it was her who sang and starred in a swatch irony commercial. Wearing a very sexy shiny catsuit nakuu I always abang that commercial on TV dati.til now nasa saulo ko pa ung song TAKIN ABOUT THE REVOLUTION...Hahaha parang ganuh Basta ang ganda Ng commercial na Yun parang MTV Ng Scream ni MJ and Janet Jackson Yung peg very futuristic. Also I still have her CDs kept till now ganun Ako ka faney ñya.. love u Rachel thanx u for giving us beautiful music❤😊🙏
Oo nga noh, imagine Filipino known around the world with world class talent pero kulang s suporta ng gobyerno. It’s like if one talent succeed , you’re on your own.
Rachel is such a smart and intelligent woman, and most of all, she's a beautiful soul! I visited SoKor in 2011 for a residency training. One of the training staff asked me: What can you say about the Korean invasion? Then she explained what she meant. It made me appear clueless. I lacked that awareness, at first, but on hindsight, yeah, it's like an invasion, a socio-cultural & economic invasion. But what startled me was her (including majority of Koreans) labeling it so. And I realized it was a deliberate effort by the whole of SoKor government.
In terms of drama.. kdramas naman talaga ang unang nagdala sa korea's entertainment industry, sumunod nalang na notice yung mga boy groups and girl groups nila... yung dramas natin.. need nagimprove.. grabe makaluma.. puro negativity. Umay to max na.. so dapat talaga maimprove na din ang talent ng pinoy sa entertainment field.
You are right Rachel Marcos Sr and FL Imelda Marcos were doing that strategy of supporting artists before ! Sad to say no Presidents supported anymore the Filipino artist unless from private producers
THANK YOU! SANA MAPANSIN NYO PO ETO.
The problem is that the composers and producers in the country only targets the “masa” who are the main consumers of the entertainment scene. Unfortunately, these songs will not prosper in the foreign market unlike the kpop. I think it is the responsibility of the producers and composers in our country to educate our masa by introducing them to music that can be also appreciated in the foreign market. Even in our singing competitions, the winners are those that will click in the masa like the birit songs. Take note the Koreans don’tbmake birit but their songs became very popular internationally. Just my thought.
Love Rachel's voice. So soothing! Thanks Paco for this episode.
Ang ganda ng speaking voice ni Rachel, I remember when she was introduced by kuya Germs- she was so pretty and naive.

Paalam Na, Bulag sa Katotohanan, Kay Tagal, Mr Kupido - Those are 4 monster hits. How many female artists can say that they had that much #1s?
Nakapagtataka
@@olgapequiro4886 But that's a revival from her Dad.

Watching from Toronto ❤️❤️ you both!!
Rachel has a point. Kayang kaya eh.
We totally agree! To think that every Filipino is very talented in the arts.

37:46 "you can never can tell" - were they kidding or am i missing something?
Grabe din kasi ang support ng Korean government sa entertainment industry, partida may mga mandatory military pa sila and they comply walang arte arte
😍😊🫶🏼
Good point!
Rachel is a full package! Beauty, brains and talent ♥️
