Don't know if you've ever tried fasting Sean but having dieted for virtually all my life, this is the first time that the weightloss has continued longer than 3 months. I eat within a 4-6 hour window and pretty much eat what I want in those hours within reason. Lost 3 stone since May! It is honestly the easiest thing to adjust to, you can literally feel it working. Anyhow, thanks for the video, love your moon clock - a great addition to the Little Welsh Kitchen
Have you thought of mowing the whole plot and covering with membrane? This way it will look tidy and you can lift a bit at a time to make beds😊. Plus you will see the lay of the land .Just an idea😊
Your new bucket and mop look wonderful …..but I hired my first house cleaner a few years back to get our home ready for sale and I could not part with her after that first visit . Even once a month for a few hours to do the heavier jobs like floors and bathtub , even high dusting etc are so appreciated . Worth every Penny as I hit 68 years ! The instructions for my GF clock [with 3 different chimes, 3 wind-up holes]. The instructions are: Turn BACK the hands, pausing every 1/4 hr to let the chimes sound. I stop the pendulum, set my phone timer to let me know when it is 1/4 hr before the correct time. I then set the GF by turning back the hands to the correct time and restarting the pendulum. The chimes are out of sync for a while until correcting itself to the appropriate chime/times. There are likely to be YT vids with detailed instructions for your specific clock movement. BTW, I have never set the moon phase display BUT this vid has prompted me to learn how to do it. THANK YOU Sean.

There’s the same Frontline for cats too Please look into it before injections my dogs are gun dogs who are always in the scrub & can pick up fleas ticks etc so easy. They are always clear & clean. Sean most clocks have the going time spring on the right not the left and the reason it struck 12 was you pushed the hands past 12 without letting it strike then
Yes I was told with my chiming clock to turn the big hand clockwise only, never turn the small hand and to let it chime the hours and half hours as you round, then it’s always the right chime, it’s a right faff if someone else has messed with it and you have to figure out how to put it right.
@@munchkinheaven7877 depending on whether it's a modern clock with a self correct mechanism you can in fact turn the hands backwards or forwards and the clock will sort itself out over the next hour but that said my recommendation is to only turn the hands clockwise and if you have to go past12 o'clock pause at this point allowing the clock to strike before advancing to the correct time, if it's an older clock ie pre 1930 ISH let it strike each hour half hour etc till the time is reached
Spinning mop is new to me. I have some old time solid long handles that are useful for painting and some brushes for the floor. I bought some pet stain cleaner as in the winter my cat won't get out of the warm bed in time. Will put down large washable pads which is helpful. It's interesting all the stuff that you buy.
Great minds think alike 😊 I have just bought a new mop and bucket but mine has a foot paddle. It is great. I expect your cats missed you when you were on holiday, one of my cats missed my grandson who lives with me he was gone for a few days. Fine now he is home again. Like you said it is getting cooler now had to put on electric blanket the other night. Like your new clock it is different, never relaise you could get clocks like that. Good for you being a gardener. Glad there are still butchers in your area, might pay you to stock up your freezer with some meat for the winter.
I'd consult a Vet about your cat. Sometimes peeing somewhere unusual indicates more than being upset over guests, it's your cat saying they don't feel well. Could it be a UTI?

Hardware stores (Bunnings in Oz) have a similar mop -took me ages to work out. There's a round thing on the stem that you engage to allow the spin, and close for no spin ( or vice versa - can't remember). When you work it out, it is good. You can clean the mop in the bucket after, ready for next time.

I just received my music for our annual singing Christmas Tree of about 150 strong, it was shut down for 4 years because of "you know what". 😢
Been there, done that.
This video was verging on comedy again but not quite you managed to keep it all together, you still made me smile though. Thank you Sean have a lovely day.
I enjoyed your singing this morning. Brightened the day. Yoghurts look nice.
Sowing seeds by moon. According to what I've been told it's a growing moon for those plants that you are going to harvest overground parts like cabbage, cauliflower, corn etc. And decreasing moon for those plants that you are going to harvest the underground part like beet, potato, carrots etc.
Wow! What a slab of butter.
Well, if you have a clock for the phases of the moon maybe there’s one for when the rubbish gets picked up?😅😂😊
Ohhh Wow!!! Love your new clock
Never knew there was a clock with the moon fases...only knew about calendars...
I'll try to look for one...clever clock...
I thought you already had a spin mop, so why do you need another one?
No, first one I’ve ever bought.
Your beach retreat seems to have been good for you...your feeling pretty chipper...thanks for making me laugh. The quilted foil milk and butter bag coulf help to keep a plant from freezing at the homested...
any reason you blurred out the name on the bag of potting mix?
It was showing my address.
When you defrost your frozen milk, how long does it last before turning sour?
From my experience a week.
There is a little lever in the mop handle Sean, push that down then your mop will spin. I’ve got the same one but in purple. Beautiful 😊.

My mop doesn't work.
You are always busy puttering in you little Welsh cottage and Homestead. I feel right at home with you as I putter around my home and watch your videos at the same time. 💕👍🏻Hope you kitty is ok. Let us know any updates from the vet. Cats are notorious for hiding away or keeping very quiet in their special spots when they are in pain or out of sorts. Like that clock….so handy for gardeners. I never knew that a full moon is the best time to plant seeds. 🌕Thanks for that useful bit of info Sean. Have a restful weekend. We are having another heat wave here in BC Canada. I am so ready for fall.🍁🍂⛅️🌧️
I love the new clock … perfect for gardeners 🤗
