They listened to what was exactly going on and answered the correct questions to get what what actually happening. The caller was the one who provided very confusing information. Guy with a gun but no one there, and went outside? What is that even supposed to mean?

Riverside county law enforcement apparatus is the best in California. I can't wait to move back to that county in order to feel safe again. I hate LA but it's the only place where I can rebuild my lifestyle quickly.

People do give the footage freely, and I would think since the person who shot the video was not apart of the incident they are more likely to give it to them.
A perfect example of shooting someone because you can, not because you have to. You're heavily armed, wearing body armor, with good cover, and there's ten of you. But the guy has something in his hand that MIGHT be a tiny knife, so you kill him? Just a bunch of cowards.

They should have made sure that the object was not a gun which would only have been about one second before just pulling the trigger, as they were well concealed and had nothing to fear from a troubled man. Train your boys and girls to be a little less trigger-happy as was that cop who shot the bicyclist with a meat cleaver.

This breaks my heart to see.. this was my best friend’s son! It seems like the shot was taken from pretty far from him . I personally did not see him pull anything out of his pocket when he threw out his arms. It looked to me to be in frustration. He didn’t have a chance to get back to his pocket before the shot was taken. Man with a big heart that loved his family and needed mental help that he kept trying to get. Very saddened to see this. 😢
Its a relatively simple process. Be compliant with law enforcement. Whether or not you feel someone is right or wrong, do as they tell you, and no one will get hurt. Refusing to do this will result in thinning of the herds. Nice neck tattoo, btw.......

Well think about it like this, If your adrenaline is running and you get called out to a scene of a man with a gun. now this dude has just ripped a shinny metal object from his pocket and is now starting to move towards you, what would you do? For the sake of argument you have no idea what he's holding, what you have on your duty belt is all you can use. So like I asked. What would you do? You can't claim that they need better training when I can probably with 90% certainty you haven't A: Taken explorers B: Attempted to apply to be a volunteer or see the training yourself C: Haven't applied and attempted to be a deputy.
If you use your brain you'd understand that in the seconds that it takes to identify what someone has in a gun could be seconds the man can use to shoot and kill an officer. Had he had a gun the officers would first have to look at the object, see it is a gun, then fire. This takes valuable seconds the officers need to identify this gun the person could have used those to start shooting. If you have guns aimed at you and pull something out of your pocket quick, they will shoot you.
