I love Andy so much, I know him in real life. That comment at the end was as close to yelling as Andy would ever get to screaming at the media to shut up and drop it, because everyone can have their own view on life! and Butker didn't actually do anything wrong, he praised women that want to be mothers. A lot of women do want to be mothers, it is not a negative thing at all! It is okay that people have different views in life, you don't have to agree with something someone says, but stop trying to destroy a person for having a view that is different than yours. Idiots calling for him to be removed from the Chiefs because he voiced a personal religious view at a religious college!?! I guess you shouldn't be able to work now if you are religious???!!! It’s troubling how many of you are okay with what Harrison said, and if you want to tell me how I’m wrong, I very much welcome you to try and tell me why having that view of women is okay or how it differs in any meaningful way from sharia law when it comes to women’s rights. (Edit: for more clarity, I meant when it comes to the rules on the roles the women should, have and the strictest rules they have to follow. I’m a life long chiefs fan, but I will be rooting against Butker this season and hope he loses his job or gets injured. 3 super bowls is enough for me to exchange for a worse kicker. It’s one thing to have traditional Christian values, but don’t fool yourself into believing that’s all Harrison said, he very much said that he believes in the Christian equivalent of Sharia law when it comes to women. As the outcast/only atheist of a huge Christian family that never leaves the home except to go to church or get groceries, I’ve seen first hand how controlled and used the women are in these kind of families. If only he was talking to all the people who have opinions about it. Lol
I can agree with this
Chiefs!!
All we do is win ❤
Toney needs to get it together this season if he’s staying with the chiefs. The stupid mistakes he made was not cool.
His mouth wasnt so cool either. He should never pass up an opportunity to keep it shut
If I had the money I’d pay the Chiefs to cut Toney. He’s a waste of good money.
They brought on some good players and I'm looking forward to the offense converting in the red zone we need more 6s and less 3s I hope we see Butker kicking more extra points and less fg's
The butker stuff is such a non-issue. Hope this is the last we have to hear about it
As soon as I saw Tony with that bike I know he will get in trouble with it.
Yes. I agree. Not a good thing.
Let it freaking go he said what he said it's over, it's called free speech thank God we still have the right to say and have our own beliefs
If that were true, Kap wouldn't have lost his job.
@mikerehan7425 remind me, why didn't Kap start his "protest" until after he was benched? Lmao he didn't lose his job because of "protesting", he lost his job and then "protested" which made him more of a headache then he was worth for any team. Also what does that have to do with the Butker sitation? Who spoke on his free time and not when the nfl was paying him to play a game.
@@mikerehan7425 Yeah, what Steve said!!😂 Kap was being disrespectful to the flag and what it stands for ON COMPANY TIME😮😮 Butker was not ..

Exactly this is how society should see controversial things like butker's situation just letting it be even if you don't agree to it at all mahomes and Reid were on point with their opinion on it
Also if they have to have Butker tackle someone then pray for this man since I'm sure he doesn't even practice tackling at practice 😂
Let’s go #7
Absolutely mad respect to andy reid and patrick mahomes, absolutely stand up men! Not going to take any flack from the alphabit people for having their head on straight.
All the two of them said was everyone has their own opinion and we should respect it. Where's Butker's respect to others' opinions though? The same place Colin's was a few years ago.
@@occallie Butker didnt say anything about other peoples opinions, all he gave was his own opinion and soft individuals like yourself are crying because you don't like his opinion. This was a catholic commencement speech so if you don't like catholic values, then don't listen to it! sheesh where is common sense nowadays
@@Fro609 It has to be said repeatedly, to those who keep claiming that what Butker said was just "catholic values", that the sponsors of the school where he spoke said his remarks were divisive and did not "represent the Catholic, Benedictine, liberal arts college that our founders envisioned and in which we have been so invested."

Mahomes and Reid spoke perfectly!
Ay man... salute on the hard work
I’m a newer Chiefs fan (yes, a love story brought me here ❤😂) and have been so impressed at how Andy, Patrick & all of them never throw anyone under the bus. They are such a class act and great examples of good men & leaders. You know they handle things in private and have good boundaries about what they say publicly. Guys on this team are so lucky to be mentored and coached at this level, it will stay with them forever I bet. I can’t even believe I watch football press conferences now 😂 but I agree, they handled this so well. I have appreciated your thoughts too, thanks for having this channel!!! 🏈🏈🏈🏈

They do a remarkable job of protecting each other. Real teamwork

Hysterical. Never heard that before
I think that question was pretty legit and deserved a legit response instead of a sidestep.
HBTC FAMILY KINGDOM 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈😎😎😎😎😎
Mahomes and Reid answered this perfectly. They know Butker personally for years and both know him as an honorable man and defended him as such. People can agree or disagree with what was said by Butker and that's great either way. They're being smart by not feeding into the drama. This will all be forgotten about by the start of the season except for a few pathetic people that are just looking for an excuse to be offended.
the alphabit peeps never forget about anything sadly
It really is a non story. Rice and the weed boys are a problem
Defended is a strong word for what mahomes said.
@@eii7316 andy reid most certainly defended him, snapped back at a reporter, and mahomes is a devout man of faith as well, so he most certainly agrees with butker. His wife is a homemaker herself
@Fro609 Smh🤦....I understand regular fans might not be familiar with Brittany mahomes but no she is definitely not a "homemaker" just Google her
I actually laughed out loud, too, with Andy Reids comment.

I'm excited about Wiley and Brown! I think if Worthy gets enough time on the field he will be exciting.
I NEED that fuckin’ Mahomes/Dawson crossover shirt lol. So sick
a catholic guy, giving a speech at a catholic university, about catholic doctrine... there is nothing wrong with it. If you don't like it, don't listen to it. Simple as that.
Can you set your wide angle higher up? Your hands dominate the screen now and your expressions are more fun to watch.
It really is crazy that KT doesn't seem to care about getting on the field this season.
You nailed it. Sad he get big salary for most likely doing nothing
Butker I'm with you. Without my wife staying at home my children would be raised by strangers. Parents lives matter
Toney will be back #ChiefsKingdom
Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes, and Travis Kelce. All three stated that everybody has a right to their opinion even though "They Don't Agree With It."
I put that in quotes because you have people out there spinning this. By trying to say they agree with what Butker said........
Which is not the case........
As they defended Butkers character and right to view his opinions. But didn't defend what he said........
This "issue" worked as a great revealer of people who hate free speech and also those whom have lost touch with humanity.
Honest, yeah right. He CAN’T be honest otherwise he’d be fined by the NFL for going off-script.
What he says to Butker IN PRIVATE, now that will have a ring of honesty to it.
Ya think Andy was pointing at Todd Leabo? 😉
Butker conversation is turmoil because we are in off season and we are bored.
Not a hamstring! Not another fragile player. I hope. That is the biggest problem with Toney IMO.
SMH wtf is wrong with people?!
Sure, calling for him to be fired is excessive. But Butker did more than praise "women that want to be mothers." If he hadn't, the Benedictine Sisters of Mount St. Scholastica wouldn't have found it necessary to express their strong disagreement with his remarks.
Love it. Hate it. Shove it under the rug☝🏾go chiefs🤣
Butker has literally made a speech like he did recently and nobody said anything. But now that its circulating TikTok its a big deal 🤦🏻♂️ you dont have to agree with what he said, but the fact people want him fired is dumb as hell
@hbtchiefs Yoooooo 4 real, I lol as well. Straight savage mood, is spot on!!!
The reason some are hating Butker is simply because he told the truth. Liars HATE the truth. Darkness HATES the light.

Chiefs trying for a 3 peat. Quit asking dumb questions. They dont give a F. That's what i got out of their comments. Totally agree.
Speaking of smart kids, Cole, because you’re one person who correctly pronounces Kingsley’s surname, I’ll repeat my joke that I suspect others didn’t get: I imagine a Chiefs Offensive Lineman having a few words with an opponent Defensive Lineman, referring to the new tackle in the joke: (where he rapidly paraphrases Kingsley’s name, “So Imma tell ya”) “So I’m-a-tell-ya what’s up.. your team now has no chance against ours.”
Glad people are coming down on the right side of Butker’s awesome speech!
Mahomes literally said he didn’t agree with it all.
It wasn't an awesome speech, he's misogynistic. Why did he inject Taylor and not his mother in his speech. His mother wasn't a breeder, she wasn't a stay at home mom, she is a physicist!
Speech sucked, Harrison rocks.
@@jennifersturridge8802omg how could Butker remind women that they have options and shouldn't feel forced by society to put their entire lives into their careers.....what a dirt bag.......

13:44 "Would you rather have Harrison Butker...or Justin Reid" on kickoffs? Given the new format, Reid is the safer bet. Hope the grand master has a specific clause in his contract to get paid a bonus every time he kicks!
I do not mean the consequences of breaking the sharia law which is of course worse, but that’s getting away from the point I’m trying to make.)
They’re brainwashed and conditioned into thinking that’s the only life they can live and there’s no other real, options for them in the world if they wanted.
I welcome a debate below 👇
I would suggest brushing up on your Sharia Law…I think once you start looking into what Sharia Law says you will answer your own question
@@PepeAtreides-s3b my quote is, "how it differs in any meaningful way from sharia law", we can agree that sharia law is worse, but how is what Butker supports being only slightly less oppressive that sharia law an okay thing to accept?
Be detailed in your response.
Please quote in your detailed response what exact words Harrison said condemning women and what he thinks of them? If you can't quote his words and only use your twisted interpretation of what the media told you to be offended by, then you don't honestly want a debate.

You know exactly what you’re trying to do by framing and shifting the topic to a much narrower object
Also, when people try this tactic I have never in my entire existence doing debates had one of you admit to being wrong if I do do the meaningless effort of quoting the claims exactly & writing detailed reasons along with them
For something as obvious as this, you shouldn’t need that from me, you know what he said, you know why people would, have a problem with it, stop playing dumb
But yeah, I’ve simply just never gone ahead and just put in meaningless effort to satisfy requests like yours & had the opponent be like "oh okay, I understand, my bad, you’re right"

(Yes I wrote a rant, you don’t understand how much I encounter ppl like you trying to set me up to be divided and get off topic by honing in on more specific minute details which then lead to you moving the goalposts & trying to win based on some technicality vs actually rebutting the obvious over arching claim)
@@K-Y-4uRBooBoo also in more simple terms, you’re trying to force me into a super narrow response of which if I get a tiny meaningless technicality wrong you will use that grounds for losing the debate… that tactic is so bad faith and you know it

I'm still waiting to hear what Butker said that was offensive. I think some of the media took him out of context. If you really listen to what he said it was not offensive. He was supporting his wife in her decision to stay at home with their kids. He did not say that all women need to stay at home instead of getting a job like the media is reporting. This whole thing was misunderstood by a lot of people.
