The Brabus 800 S63 Coupe is Menacingly Cool!

- Check out the Brabus 800 S Coupe! Not much can top a Mercedes S Class Coupe when it comes to 'baller status', especially not when it's a Brabus 800. In this case the Mercedes-AMG S63 is dialed up to 800 horsepower and presented in style so let's take a look, hear their new exhaust, and take it for a drive!
Brabus turn things up a notch, for example the 4.0l Biturbo V8 now makes 800hp (from 612hp stock) and 1,000nm of torque (from 850nm stock) - no small numbers by any stretch of the imagination. In addition the car is fitted with a new valve controlled exhaust system, external carbon aero parts, Brabus badging, and new wheels, which as a package on their traditional fully black launch spec turn it into something really quite menacing. On the interior in this case the car is largely unchanged, but of course Brabus also have the capability to completely transform it with new materials and finishes for the most personalised car imaginable too.
To discover the car, I'm at the Brabus HQ in Bottrop, Germany, where we can first explore and take a look around before it's time to jump on board for a drive and chance to get a feel for that amount of power. Upon return let's go through the interior functionality in more detail and the sheer level of luxury on offer from the S Class Coupe.

I will say that the Mercedes S63 AMG is my favorite car from brand’s lineup.
It’s a pretty good-looking car, and with the Brabus update, it makes very aggressive!

This is literally my dream car right there. It's a bit expensive though, so it will take me some time to be able to get one myself, but I'll have one eventually.
Tim you should totally get one of those, imagine how good that V8 BiTurbo sounds in your garage! I totally understand that with both the Senna and the GT coming that you probably don't want to spend any more money on supercars soon. I still can't wait for those two arrive and I'm certain you cannot either. Atleast you will get your cars sooner than me because I wont get anything nearly as expensive anytime soon. Will you do a garage update and a "Living with a McLaren Senna" and a "Living with a Ford GT" video? Would love to see those again!

Brabus have always had that X factor as a MB/AMG tuner.
I remember, 10 years ago, their V12 C class Bullit; putting out approximately 540 kW & 1300 nM; when not limited.
This S63 is off the chart.
But what is the total cost? The cost of Brabus cars are usually eye watering.

I suppose a CD changer is cool, but with the classic upgrade Brabus replace the CD changer with a record player. Then on the rocket 900, options include a VHS recorder and rear mounted gramophone.

Driven the S63, not the 8 series, but both showrooms are opposite each other here with the cars on display. Mercs rear seats give more space, BMW's fold forward. Current generation the infotainment bmw has mercedes beat but next year it should become more level. Drive wise the 8 series will be better than the S coupe due to rear wheel steering etc, which may debut in next years S-coupe.

Anyone prefer non digital gauges? Especially in Mercedes...our CLK 430 has the old school ones. So much better than those dual screens
aneebaba06 it actually makes a less complex car because the needles in the gauges break over time. I like gauges but can see why car manufacturers are going with screens as their cluster now.
Mine was one of the last years with the needle. It moved along the outside of the gauge and the display in the middle is perfect imo. I’m not really into the all digital either. The Escalades have them but in a sports car you should see gauges moving as you take off.

Difficult, I am not 100% sure if I like the rear of the GT63.
If the GT63 had the rear lights of the S63 Coupe it'd be much more appealing. The GT63 lights just seem a little on the slim side considering how much bigger the car is over the GT.
I personally think the rear looks good, especially with spoiler up but the front looks bad on the GT63s
@@kimjong-un6994 for me it´s exactly the opposite: front looks fucking amazing. Rear sooks really really weird. They shouldve done a similar rear shape to an e or s coupe.
The front is similar to the S63 headlight wise (I suspect the 2020 S Coupe with have similar looks honestly). So it would look good with either set of rear lights imo, just the proportions look slightly odd to me with the GT lights over the S coupe ones.
So weird seeing you drive through my hometown of Bottrop - almost makes me glad I left but does make me miss the Autobahn (esp A31 going North)
