- PIMS-TS is a hot topic of discussion as we are seeing more and more patients with varied presentations. This is still a evolving disorder and this is what I have read till date. I think this is a definite question for the upcoming exams/viva/OSCE. All the best
points forgotten
1.RT-PCR is usually negative but serology is positive in patients with PIMS suggesting that is not a direct effect of virus and not seen during active phase
Thank you

Ma'am ferritin won't be sky high like HLH. It will be 5000 range only right?
Please mention references during mx. IVIG dose from where ma'am?
Urticaria is a rare presentation.
GI - diffuse tenderness of right side abdomen, more in RIF.
Very useful ma’am!
Thank you mam
Mam can we discuss system wise , I think it will be easy
You mean finish one system questions and move to next doctor?
Yes mam I think in that way it would be easy to cover all systems and not miss any topics
Ma’am it would be great that way . I know it’s tasking but if we Residents get help from a teacher like you I think nothing better we can get . Your lectures are super .
madam can u pls make videos on embryology questions asked in dnb exam , these r least read topic n difficult to cover in short time
One suggestion - keep volume high while recording .
Ohhh. I didn't realise it was low doctor. Sorry for the inconvenience. Will try to keep it high from next time.
@@pediatrictakesbydr.pavitra9813 it's not that low bt I felt so . Thanks for lectures .was waiting for new one ! 🙏 Really very helpful .

Mam one doubt..In history u told history of contact with covid 19 patient mam🤔
Yes. There is a contact and possibly this child had a COVID but asymptomatic. Down the lane-after 2-4 weeks post infection-presentation of PIMS. By that time PCR may be negative but antibodies are positive.
Thank you mam for efforts 🙏
Mam can u please discuss transfusion guideline in hemolytic child
