Why are there so many fans of the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro here? Are you really willing to pay twice the price for built-in GPS and a 0.12-inch larger screen? The display of the Smart Band 9 Pro only seems bigger because of its shape, but it's only 0.12 inches larger. That's not much. Other than that, they are the same smart bands! I expected more from the Pro version simply because I recently tested the Redmi Watch 5 Lite and it's better than the Smart Band 9 Pro, but even cheaper.
@@TechBrothersReviews like i said, mi band 9 pro got higher screen brightness and can auto brightness too That's like the thing that redmi watch 5 lite seriously lacking and quite a turned off for me especially since i dont want to have any problem looking at the time under direct sunlight Also i came from mi band 8 and looking for an upgrade and i tried redmi watch 5 lite and didn't like it and before u asks why not mi band 9? Ive been using mi band since 3, 4, 6 and 8 but never pro, so now im trying mi band 9 pro instead and havent got issue with it so far (other than i cant find anyone who makes goofy custom watch faces, but that doesn't really affect my experience with this device)
It's more accurate in what? Heart rate and spO2 monitors are the same. The battery capacity is larger, but the battery life is the same. The screen is bigger, but only by 0.12 inches. (Although I said I like the shape of the Pro version better). And the price of the Smart Band 9 Pro is almost twice as much. For me it's a disappointment. Where is at least Bluetooth Calling? Redmi Watch 5 Lite is cheaper than Smart Band 9 Pro, but it has GPS and Bluetooth Calling, and even bigger screen than Smart Band 9 Pro.
@@marvinrockon He is incorrect. The heart rate readings on the band 9 are really poor outdoors because of the design of the device allows lot's of light bleed towards the sensor. The band 9 pro blocks more light at the sides due to it's shape and position of the sensors, therefore your heart rate readings will be much closer to the true measurement. Look up The Quantified Scientist's videos about the band 9 to see how it often fails readings outside.
@@TechBrothersReviews I think most people buy smart bands for health tracking. You should have put more focus on the accuracy of the heart rate, sleep tracking rather than the other features which have become pretty standard on all smartbands/smartwatches.
If you dont need GPS, you should buy the smaller Mi Band. If you want the cheapest device with GPS, now you can pick either Mi Band 9 Pro (this video), or the cheaper (but bigger in size) Redmi Watch 5 Lite. I would prefer Xiaomi release Mi Band 10 (the smaller, Not Pro) with GPS. I dont mind the smaller size or smaller battery and smaller screen too. I just like the size, but no GPS? Not yet. Maybe try to compare Mi Band 9 Pro vs Redmi Watch 5 Lite, since both have GPS, and these 2 are the cheapest GPS wearables now.
@@TechBrothersReviews Yes I think so too. It will ruin the market. For now, Xiaomi still wins, as the cheapest wearable with GPS and Strava working (with some tricks of course). I of course want a smaller size. Thats the reason I upgrade from Mi Band 6 to 8 Pro, since I hate running with my phone in pocket.
@@zzztidurvirushey bro im planning to buy the mi band 9 pro. Can it fully work with strava app? Specifically with iOS platforms? Yeah hate carrying my iPhone when running out i have the mi band 8.
Excellent comparison, thanks for sharing, though the title could be more useful. For the price going for both, having had the mi band 9 and loved it. There are times when I want the larger screen, GPS and compass; times when I want the smaller size. I got a sports loop style band and love it. Also, the mi band 9 is great as a pendant at times (haven't tried in my shoe).
Who really needs GPS in fitness bracelets? Do you really do professional sports with Xiaomi smart bands? It's better to use a Garmin, or other sports watch for that.
The closest Garmin costs several times more. I actually find having the GPS (and the compass) really useful for mountain biking. I can track my route without draining my phone battery (which I need as much as possible for all day trail riding).
I think that the xiaomi smart band 9 pro will have alexa because when i bought a xiaomi smart band 8 pro it hasn't alexa but in a couple of months i saw that there was alexa avviable and maybe this can also happen with the xiaomi smart band 9 pro
I bought redmi watch 5 lite and after i accidentally look at it under direct sunlight, i cant see anything, and it doesnt have auto brightness too So i sell it and bought mi band 9 pro instead
Sorry, I don’t have the Galaxy Fit 3 anymore. I hope the Galaxy Fit 4 will be released this or next year, and we will compare it to the Smart Band 9 Pro.

It’s a band not watch
Clickbait title, kind of. It's more accurate, got a better battery and has a bigger screen. Why should it be an disapointment?

Ok I have both now. What stands out is how slow the band 9 pro lift to wake is compared to the smaller mi band 9.
which has the more accurate step counter?
GPS is not used to count steps, so they are the same.
I didn't understand the thumbnail... How is Xiaomi Band 9 better than Band 9 Pro?
As a smart band itself it's not better, but it's a better option to buy because it's almost the same as the Pro version, but cheaper.
Yeah. I didn't learn anything from the video. I expected more.😒

Will you be testing the Redmi Watch 5 LTE? I'm interested to know your opinion about this watch.
I am also very interested in this watch, but it is not sold in our country. We will try to buy it from China or somewhere else.

any idea when it will be launching in india????

@TechBrothersReviews cool bro
how about band 9 active? more interested in the cheaper option
that or watch 5 active but that one is SO HUGE
We'll do a video about the Smart Band 9 Active, but I can't say how soon. It'll probably take a couple weeks.

but 9 pro did not calculate acurate calories its totaly fake calories counter

Yes, the Smart Band 9 Pro is much more comfortable for me than the Smart Band 9.
Agree with clickbait title. The larger screen alone and GPS is enough to justify the price difference.
Ok, but I'm not willing to pay twice as much for that.

I don't agree with you about compactness. Yes, it's narrower, but it's longer.
