After a long and exhausting stretch of work, I decided to take a well-deserved break and head back to something I used to enjoy immensely-walking to Mall Road in Shimla. In this vlog, I invite you all to join me on a peaceful and scenic journey on foot from Chaura Maidan to Mall Road. It's been ages since I did this, and it brought back fond memories of my university days when I would take long walks from the campus to the heart of Shimla.
Starting my day by driving through Summer Hill, the route itself was a nostalgic reminder of how peaceful and close to nature Shimla can be. Once I reached Chaura Maidan, I parked my car and began the walk, surrounded by majestic oak, brass, and deodar trees, their lush greenery creating a serene atmosphere. The freshness in the air after a recent rainfall added to the beauty of the road.
As I made my way toward Mall Road, I was reminded of simpler times, the endless conversations with friends, and the peaceful feeling of being close to nature. The walk was an absolute delight, offering breathtaking views and the calming sound of nature. Reaching Mall Road, I met up with some old friends, and we sat at our favorite tea shop, catching up over warm chai and snacks. There's something about the vibe of Mall Road after a rain shower-it's refreshing, vibrant, yet calm all at once.
After spending some time enjoying the scenic beauty and reconnecting with old friends, I took the same route back to Chaura Maidan, where my car was parked. The experience was not only refreshing but also a much-needed escape from the daily grind of work. I really enjoyed taking you all on this walk down memory lane.
