    -Li Fraumeni syndrome
    -Familial retinoblastoma gene mutation
    -Gardner’s syndrome
    -Tuberous sclerosis
What are the symptoms of soft tissue sarcoma?
A gradually increasing lump is the most common presentation
What are the investigations done in a suspected patient of sarcoma?
    1.History and Clinical examination
    2.Routine blood test
    3.Biopsy from the lump
4.MRI scan or CT scan of local area
    5.Whole Body PET-CT scan
How a soft tissue sarcoma patient treated?
Primary treatment for a localised soft tissue sarcoma is surgery. Some patient would need Radiotherapy after surgery based on risk factors; to reduce the risk of recurrence. Selected patient needs chemotherapy or radiotherapy before surgery to shrink down a large tumour before surgery.
In advanced stage, where cancer has spread to other organ treatment intent will be palliative which means trying to control the cancer, control the symptoms from cancer and to try to improve survival. Here chemotherapy, targeted therapy or their combination is used for treatment. Some patient will need palliative radiotherapy for symptom control for cancer spread.
