These short videos are explained quickly and simply and I greatly appreciate it as I don’t have the time to go through every single ICT video multiple times to understand it clearly and simply
0:10 Introduction and OTE definition. 1:00 Chart example #1 Classic ICT OTE 2:10 Example #2 Using a large range displacement candle. Remember ICT often picked the 'visible' displacement 2:15 Example #3 Using the Fibs for a counter trend scalp. 2:55 Example #4 Counter trend trade back to a PDA / OB .
Truly excellent content which could only surpassed by a candle by candle analysis with explanation and breakdown of the thought process P.S. Love you man, best content no question
Your videos are incredible on ICT/SMC - what is your screensetup? Do you have many timeframes displayed at once on ES or NQ, if so what ones do you look at? OR do you scroll through timeframes a lot and have multiple instruments up? A video on how you setup your workspace would be great
I have 3 27” monitors, 2 horizontal and 1 vertical. Normally have 4 grid of ES up and sometimes NQ as well. Vertical monitor is for discord and other things.
Really appreciate your videos! However, I don't really understand how you identify break of strucutures. For instance, at 01:06 you mark the BOS at the high at about 7:00h. But wasn't there BOS actually much earlier at the highs at about 8:00h or 9:00h?
Hi, @TTrades great vid! Around 1:53 you mention a smart money reversal. Have you done a video focusing on smart money reversals? I see you have one on smart money divergences but did not find one on smart money reversals.
Yeah so ive messed around with both, both work. I would do some backtesting yourself and see what you think. Im not taking entries solely off OTE most the time, more using it in confluence with FVG model etc.
@@TTrades_edu I've landed more setups to the tick using the bodies so I focus on that avenue. Thanks again for the quality content and sharing you knowledge in the room. You're helping me a lot!
@@TTrades_edu Are you guys talking about using the bodies (instead of the wicks) when applying the fib on dealing range? And thanks for all the helpful info and videos. They are very good.
I can work on something, can you explain a little what you are looking for. like mmxm models or just higher time frame reasonings that could lead to an smr
Hi! I have a question, when there are large wicks, along with a decent body, what do we choose? Cause If I pick OTE with wicks it does not reach .5 lvl, but with the body it almost gets to .62. Thank you!
Hello, do is no need specific monitoring windoes time to trade OTE? I love your video and appreaciate it. Please make London and New York KillZones videos as well. thanks❤
@@TTrades_edu Just one more question I don't believe you covered in the video: if price action is so strong that it doesn't even come back to respect the FVG could you be safe in longing a break of the previous resistance? Or what would your protocol be? Thanks.
Thanks for explaining like for me its th simplicity..But my question is didn't ICT refer using this OTE only when a daily High or Low is broken?? Or it can be used when there's a BMS/BOS happens Thank you
This might be the best channel for ict concepts aside from ict himself…
Thank you!
I totally agree

Definitely. No long rants. Straight to the point. And concise.
Some TH-camrs don't realize that how simple it is for people to learn is how simple it is for you to teach. Extreme quality content.

@ 1:09 -- why wouldn't the Break of structure be at the 8:55 candle high when it gets taken over?
Can you please make a video on fib settings of OTE.
just .62 .79 for me, some use .7 too
Great videos
Thank you!

Hi, @TTrades great vid! Around 1:53 you mention a smart money reversal. Have you done a video focusing on smart money reversals? I see you have one on smart money divergences but did not find one on smart money reversals.
Smart money reversals are just some sort of HTF POI like previous day high stops being raided. Then your LTF model is the smart model reversal.
@@TTrades_edu thank you!
@@ioathlete yeah of course!
can u show your FIBONACCI SETTINGS ? THank you so much
just a .5 .62 and .79 fib
Thank u for this, can u make a video on using projections (from candle body to body)
can you explain a little more? like measured moves?
@@TTrades_edu correct
good stuff
thanks!
Great Videos. Do you have a Live Day Trading Stream coming up? Would be very helpful. Thank you. Paul
Hey Paul. Likely not soon. Really busy with classes.
ICT suggests to focus on the body of the candle when using OTE. Has including the wicks proven to be better for you?
Yeah so ive messed around with both, both work. I would do some backtesting yourself and see what you think.

@@pat8638 yes. And no problem
Thanks for the video. Do you always go from low to high when plotting?
Nigh to low as well. Depends if its a bearish or bullish displacement !
@@TTrades_edu Cool, thanks. So would that be high to low for bearish and low to high for bullish?
Sir, kindly make a video on order block. thank you
Its in the works, little more difficult of a video
nice video
Thanks
Cool...may I know your fib levels please
.5 .62 .79
@@TTrades_edu thank you sire...but how do I arrange that on the fib...can you please make a video of it please
Where do you place your stop loss when using ote?
I place mine at the swing high or low i drew the fib from
@@TTrades_edu thanks sir. I have a question on DoL sir. How to find DoL on ltf for scalping? Or i cant use the DoL strat for scalp? Thanks sir
can you a video on anticipating smart money reversals?
I can work on something, can you explain a little what you are looking for. like mmxm models or just higher time frame reasonings that could lead to an smr
@@TTrades_edu honestly if it’s too much could you do both? i use clarity in both areas.

Depending on if there was a news event..
If not ill generally use the wicks for everything but that is just personal preference.
Hello, do is no need specific monitoring windoes time to trade OTE?

I prefer NY OTE
@@TTrades_edu is that so, thank you very much
on the last example how comes you didnt put the fib from the swing low to the left?
it wasn't the range that made a HH
@@TTrades_edu ah sweet thanks bro
How do you mark it up on a sell ? Do you still do it from low to high & just wait for price to create the low ?
from the high to the low yeah

I look for a breaker.
Which swing high and low do you take for ote? I sometimes see that ict also skips the closest swing low and go lower and take that swing low.
normally take the leg up that took highs or lows
Thanks for explaining like for me its th simplicity..But my question is didn't ICT refer using this OTE only when a daily High or Low is broken?? Or it can be used when there's a BMS/BOS happens

Yes, more so about the NY am session for it.

@@TTrades_edu alright thank you
What are your fib settings 😢
they are on the screen or in the tradingview video.
.5 .62 .79
what's your fib set up?
.5 .62 .705 .79
Does the OTE fib only work from 8:30am-11am?
that is the optimal time yes, but i find it works other times as well
can i get your settings for ote please?
It’s on the screen but .5 .62 .79 and sometime .705
Why no 70.5?
I know where its at in between .62 and .79 so i don't want to to clog up my charts
@@TTrades_edu is it like half way?
@@Kloutkulture pretty close. But normally I’m looking for a Pd array in the area anyways
