    It's extremely easy to use, I use it 2 or 3 times a week. I hand wash my inner pot, it takes minutes to do. Empty the condensation catcher every time. I mostly make Jasmine or basmati, I use low sodium chicken broth and lime zest or lemon zest. It's the best appliance I own. Great price great product. I wholeheartedly agree with this video!

    Been using this awesome rice cooker for a year. I lost the measuring cup but thanks to you, I know it's 3/4 cup. To ensure a non-stick coating, I add a dab of something like olive oil, ghee butter (or regular), and this not only prevents any sticking but adds a little texture and moisture. Happy Cooking!

    • @lour58
      @lour58 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      How long does 2 cup of rice take to cook?

    • @jeolmo
      @jeolmo 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lour58 I'd say less than 20-25 minutes. I like to add things like chicken breast chunks, mixed veggies, which add a few more minutes. If you are into rice and beans (like I am) you can buy the Goya Rice & Red Beans, Seasoned Rice Mix, add a little olive oil and necessary water...and voila! You're a Latin chef :-). They have different Goya Rice - check them out. As for this cooker, GET IT!

    I bought this 6 months ago and although I had no problem cooking rice on the stove, this rice cooker is great. Just cooks on its own and you don't have to watch it like on the stove. I misplaced the measuring cup forvthe cooker but just use a 1 to 1 ratio for water and rice and it comes out perfect every time.

    Yes it is, I've cooked white rice, BBQ country style ribs. BBQ chicken legs, sweet potatoes, broccoli and now I'm steaming Brussel sprouts. So it's cooked everything perfect. And no standing over it like cooking on stove top. I love my Aroma 8 cup Rice Cooker.

    Wow had mine for 11 years to heat gel pads. Now in 2024, just cooked some rice for the puppy, had no idea you could remove that section of the lid. Saved us from getting sick in the future as left out rice breeds a bacterium. Not sure where the booklet is, that was 11 years and a major move ago. The rice came out perfectly. Liked it so well, I'm buying the newest model for myself. THANK YOU.

BUT then I saw the condensation on the gasket at the top & worried how on earth to dry it. Thought I was going to have to return it --- you saved the day showing that the inner lid comes off!! The book doesn't say that, at least that I noticed. Popped it off, dried everything, & now I'm going to keep it & use it all the time!! :)

We use about 3-4 times a week, for my 24 month aged Basmati Rice... I was ready to throw away today, when I saw what was under the removable lid... But, I found it, cleaned it and you confirmed, that I did not break my rice maker... I love it...

    Hi! Thank you for the great video. It was very helpful. The inner lid tip was so important. I would never have figured out that part came off. I bought the rice cooker in a big part due to your video. There are two sets of lines and numbers on the inner pot for the rice. I was wondering if you, or anyone else, knew what the lines and numbers mean under the e. The lines do not line up with the lines for 1, 2, etc and the numbers start with a 0. I’m sure the answer is obviously, but I can’t figure it out. I have read the instructions and googled, but some how couldn’t find the answer. Thank you.

    This is very helpful! I own this identical Rice cooker and been using it regularly.
    Question: Do you know the process of cooking a stew with rice? I did it yesterday and while I had to add a little extra water to ensure the rice cooked thoroughly. In the end it turned out ok, but could've been better. I thought there was a little too much liquid.
    The process I used was throwing everything in the pot including the rice. However, I let the rice ( brown rice) soak for about a half hour before rinsing it and putting it in the pot. I'm thinking next time I can start the rice first, then add everything in later.
    Anyway, interested in getting your input on this. Thanks!

      I think the rice would be overcooked if ulyou put it in first.

    Great video. I just purchased and in reading the cleaning instructions could not figure how the top lid was supposed to be removed for cleaning. Instructions very lacking. Also would have been confused about the lines chasing around until the final 10 minutes. Your video cleared up a myriad of questions. Hope you will do a follow up on your uses with the cooker.

    We’ve been using it from last 6 months to cook quinoa and rice one major design flaw is lid is not detachable and quinoa grains get stuck in the plastic steam release holes and hard to clean also mould gets under the aluminium plate and lid cover. Really tedious to maintain this cooker.

    Thanks for the video. I have one but lost the instructions and never used it and the chasing dots scared me. Lol. Plus I didn’t know the ratio of rice to water

    Haha. I came to find out why the timer lights were going round and round. You answered my question and then the beep and timer came on at the exact second you said it would. Thanks for the help.
