You forget, just how little the total flight time is. They have only had about an hour total. Amazing work SpaceX amazing work NSF WHOOP!
They iterate really fast which is awesome. Just 3 years and they’ve come so far
I wonder how much computer simulated flight time the project has.
Probably thousands of hours.
I can still remember the first tents going up like it was yesterday.
Here since hoppy lost his cone. Keep pushing spacex, humanity is rooting for you ❤
Here since sn 8 attempted its landing. Amazing to see how far they have come
Think I can beat you by a few weeks,Ive been here since there was the great debate,as to what was being built, outside "Its a rocket, its a water tank, its a rocket......"Think those early pics were done mainly by Mary ?
I only heard about starship with sn15’s landing, so I’m pretty late to the game
Still nice to see SpaceX’s rapid progress
Been watch SpaceX since before they put legs on the Falcon9. The second launch was the first I ever caught live I think. Been a wild 11 years watching them change the space industry.
I started watching at Starhopper and I'm still watching today. I'm so excited to see where SpaceX takes us next. I'm feeling all the feels right now.
Yes it's crazy how far we came from hopper days
It was incredible to witness IFT2 in person. But the most incredible part was seeing all of you people hard at work literally non-stop (in the heat, cold, wind, mosquito swarms). Only when you arrive there you truly appreciate how hard your work is. Thank you
Noooo the end needs pats of IFT-2 😂 i feel so unsatisfied I have to go watch it
History in the making. Undecided as to which Starship test is my favorite. Probably sn10 as it exploded about eight minutes after successfully landing. Thanks SpaceX for allowing everyone to see it. Thanks NSF for bringing this to us.
I remember Tim Dodd yelling "Watertanks can Fly!" As Hoppy took off.
Lots of screaming and cheering at the screens by all of us watching at home, thanks NSF team for all of the memories.
Thanks for giving NSF, my go to for all things spaceflight!
the rate of progress is just insane! Try, fail, improve, succeed !
crazy how far we came
Say what you want, nothing has been as exciting as SN8 so far. First Starship with the entire configuration, first to the launch pad. And then, it doesn't just get off the ground, it executes a perfect ascent... And then the freaking belly flop!!! And then, near the ground, it reignites, maneuvers and looks like it might nail the landing, right up until it blows up. Absolutely incredible first flight!!
I saved this one to my fav list of videos! Thanks NSF
In just a few short years Space X has achieved reusable first stage orbital class rocketry. Something that no one else on the planet has yet accomplished
Space shuttle, but the space shuttle was, cough cough refurbished/waste of money
Its been inspirational following this journey.. and long may it continue! 🎉
How far they have come in such a short space of time is truly amazing !! Can't wait to see what happens next . Go starship Go NSF !!
Watching flight 2 brought me back to when i was a kid Watching first flight of shuttle. Amazing
This was so good, that half way through I forgot it was an NSF production and thought it was a SpaceX film. NSF production value and the team behind it ROCKS!!
What a great historical montage of the Important SpaceX Starship milestone launches!!
I realized as I was watching this video, I watched and witnessed each and every one of these launches as streamed and broadcasted by NSF right here on the NSF channel as they happened! Amazing!! Still watching eagerly as each historic launch happens right here on NSF!
Thanks so much for what you guys do! It's so awesome that we get the up-close launch experience compliments of you guys at NSF!!
Please add flight 2 to the end to raise awareness for the people who are unaware of the amazing things going on in Starbase TX. I want to forward this to many non enthusiasts. Go NSF- Go SpaceX
NSF and SpaceX y'all rock! Peace
been watching from the beginning, it's been a long road ...
thanks so much for chronology. enjoyed the memories.
Been watching since May 27th 2020 for demo 2 wet dress. So first big Starship test I watched live was SN8, it took me a bit to figure out how cool Starship is. Anyway watching this give me chills.
Great to see the progress. You make so easy to b a NSF Nerd. Thankful for all of you and your efforts.
Nice work NSF team! Thanks for all you do and keep being awesome!
What a fun look back. It'll be neat to watch as SS program progresses
You guys showing the SN5 and the IFT-1 made me remember that they had something in common, both destroyed a bit of their Launch Pad😂
My favorite compilation so far...!! I was watching Labs stream when Hoppy made its first flight. Love it all...!!
Crazy to realise there is almost a 2 years gap between SN15 and IFT-1. Time flies! 🚀
Amazing progress! Astonishing people from SpaceX.
spacex had learnt from the past quite a lot and now it's the future of starship
This is amazing. I got tears in my eyes.
Goosebumps galore. Thanks for being (t)here, y'all!
Spectacular !!!🎉
The memories of watching the SN5 hops…. The launch site looks so bare!!
Wow! I'm amazed to see the development and the milestones of the SpaceX Program for the last three years. Thank you, NSF, for producing this video. It was outstanding. ☺
Learning more from your mistakes than from your successes has never been more meaningful. Bravo SpaceX!
Fantastic footage everyone on the NSF team! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being there to bring us these views and document the progress for posterity. If it all works out the way it's supposed to (and the way we hope); this is going to be a brand-new chapter in space flight history!
Amazing to see all the progress, and thanks for the coverage for all these years. ❤
They've come a long way! So exciting to watch them in this journey.
SN10, currently the only ship to take off and land twice, OK i stretching the meaning of take off and landing quite a bit.
To everyone at NSF, Happy Thanksgiving. Thank you for the amazing coverage.
Just shows the immense work being done. The progress is so surreal and they are only gonna get faster
The first time I saw that SN8 footage from below I thought it was CGI 😂 amazing stuff, can’t wait to see where spacex will take us in the future 🚀
I know it took an SN8 static fire live stream to figure out that Starship was a real rocket. I just thought it was an idea or something before that lol
Amazing progress they have made
The journey continue 💪
Had to come rewatch this one ahead of IFT-3. It’s been a long road, yet we’re still only witnessing the beginning!
great .. so nice to see hoppy fly
we are all on this together watching this becoming a marvel!❤
Through iteration, to the stars!
Awesome❤
Awesome video NSF, I would love to see a video in the future of a photo of Starhopper then to now time-lapse, just to see how far Starbase has come since Hoppy
Thanks!
I hope I live long enough to see people step foot on mars
Amazing.🤩
Been watching since CRS-7,
I remember thinking Falcon Heavy was awesome
BFR seemed absolutely out of reach even then in 2018, yet heres Starship
Thanks Space X
It's been a wonderful journey.
Seems like just yesterday but so long ago….. love the videos NSF
Thank you.
I made a video similar to this a while ago, so I got to hand it y'all, great job with this video! Keep up the awesome content, we love seeing what's going on!
we waited two years for the IFT ! wth! time flies FR
Keep up the good work SpaceX someday you can reach your goals of getting to orbit because as Nikolai Tesla said it takes a thousand tries before perfection is achieved. God speed SpaceX humanity is on your shoulders to explore the vast cosmos.
I remember the times of SN5. It's all been so insane ever since!
I sure hope it’s true that they’ll launch again just 3 weeks. Can’t wait to see Starship succeed.
Thank you for the video.
Peaceful Skies.
I remember little Starhopper, those were the times
Eu vi cada um desses lançamentos, e nao teve um que eu nao tenha me emocionado ❤
It's amazing how much SpaceX's engineering team has learned in such a short time. One can only imagine what SpaceX is doing today, and what they will do tomorrow!
It's been a long road, getting from there to here... 🎶
And to a cover of Alanis Morrisettes "Thank you" no less 😁
Just terrific. Perfect timing for this amazing compilation. I'd almost forgotten the initial 'baby steps.' I was happy all weekend about Starship. Sure both stages were destroyed, but it was clear the amazing people at Space X were making rapid progress. One criticism. Put dates on the clips. and "Now' is not a date. It won't be very long before we're watching these clips as Starship is landing on the moon. I've been rushing out to see a Space X launch from Vandenberg trying to search for "Space X launch live." Dozens and dozens of clips show up in the list, all say 'Live' no dates.
Am i the only one that cursed when the video stops right before flight 2? Ugh, same feeling as when Rey returned Luke's light saber...cut scene. Gut punch
I’ve been watching since 2019 and I honestly forgot all about the early star hopper tests
I remember hoppy. And all the other flight tests!
"Water Tower Can Fly!" -Tim Dodd Everyday Astrounaut
I wish I could personally thank all the people who are making my dream a reality.
AAAAAh Cliffhanger!!!!
I don't have kids but it must be like watching them grow up!
I started watching just before SN9.
Great video, can you reupload this with every orbital test, like the end of the clip needs the 2 explosions. Great to share video for how rapid and far the progress has been.
I have been here since way before sn8
I really miss Starship belly flops. Hope they will return soon!
I would like to see a compilation of ALL SpaceX launches, hehe, thanks, eh, hehe, eh, hehe-hehe
Rock & Roll!!!
A joy
Should it really say “now” whenever we get to the end for the date ? A few years from now that’s not going to be the same now. It’s not even there now as it stands 😅
We are very much living in the future!
This is sooo cool! love it! Really love... WHAT!?!? Where is flight of test two!! ..... oh well STILL well done.
NIcE
It's been a wild ride, awesome.
I want to remind that only 10 years left since "grasshopper" times ;)
here since sn8
You have never stopped talking to me through work spectacularly amazing while funky fucks running into me in school.
This was done way before such a ahead. Congratulations Minah Simone and NSF team who purely believed in work of nsf.
one small hop for man. one giant leap... well you get the idea.
HOW AM I NOT FIRST THIS VIDEO WAS RELEASED 44 SECONDS AGO
I simply cannot overstate my elation when sn10 cane to rest
Memories
It's a joy seeing a company reach for greatness when most of the world is busy crapping on itself. Amazing progress
Aggree 👍
You DO realize vertical rocket landings have already been done, right?
@@adamc5057- Not with launch vehicles they haven't. Dedicated lander's launched by said vehicles is a different story.
Yeah….just don’t look at what the owner has been saying lol
@@adamc5057 SpaceX was the first to have successful rocket landings from rockets going to orbit and remains the only company to do so to this date (Bezos' Blue Origin has only managed a sub-orbital flight to the edge of space).
It is amazing they have already scaled up to a booster (shown in this video) more powerful than the Saturn V (multiple times more powerful than any booster available today from anyone, re-usable or not) before any other company has managed to make ANY real orbital flight from a landing rocket.
