Biggest issues I've seen are roofs! You can have a 2 story house with green walls and if the house is wide and it needs 2 layers of roofing, the roofing will always be red and break. its a pain the ass honestly. Once you get the roof to work without breaking then good luck with caps.. pffft! I hope they do something about it honestly.
@@CellChaos-e2s Well sometimes you still need to add a cross beam as well. But the thing that throws it off the most is placement. If the snap point is slightly off on the beams it can mess up the stability as well. As a rule I do both just to be safe and double check the snap point with F7. It's a bit more time consuming but I tend not to run into problems later.
Don't use the walls for castles, use the small foundations instead. The walls are wayy to thin compared to real-life castles, which were usually several meters thick.
I'm sure with color yellow and above when weather gets implemented those yellow and orange will be going bye bye. Into slow decaying state. Just hasn't been implemented un yet
LOL I explained this like a dozen times over the past two months.. this is isn't exactly true, you need to add in pillars to make the half walls and full walls stronger. If you want to expand the roof to cover your full plot you need to to have supporting areas on the inner and outer walls. Clay Walls do not work as proper support for some reason. you can see this in the hotel i just built.

They can be a pain but that's where the beam placement really becomes key
@@xEvingodxYep! I've found that if you reinforce the edge of each placed roof piece with a horizontal beam, it works out fine!

btw, the „half“ walls are actually „thirds“ walls 😉

No, that would be ridiculous and literally no one wants it
Nice! Thanks :)
What robe or gear are you wearing?
Yeah I got to where I wouldn't even use them for a 2 story wall. This just makes me feel silly for not fully testing it. Nice find.
My shelves need help. Baskets and table lamps hang half way off. LOL I did an F8 about this today. :)
Better yet, use a combination of foundations, columns, and walls. You can build even taller.
