As someone who's reading the manga I can confirm that the guy playing Ida really looks like the manga character, I mean a lot!! ( and aoki too) they just casted the perfect actors 👌
idk 😔the guy playing ida looks a tad bit older then ida would look irl and his acting kind of lack the aloofness ida had in the beginning chapters(or maybe its just because mangas tend to exaggerate too much) even Hashimoto's actress was much more cheerful than the hashimoto in the manga , but aoki actor fit perfectly and his acting also looks like it cames straight outta manga, i really like his expression when he had internal monologues like he was really good facial expression without even like talking he was able to convey the dialogues feel.

I often watch him before in "Maido Jani"...he's a regular in this variety show. I think the vs eps are still in the chinese bilibili (no eng sub though) and livejournals.

Now that Johnny Kitagawa, the founder, has passed, they're twisting things for the better in my opinion. I know Takizawa Hideyaki, one of the seniors is now handling a big portion of the agency. They contribute a huge percentage on views, Twitter hashtags, and so on. Whatever the Filipinos can easily access, they hype about it. It's only just recently that J&A opened to international audience through TH-cam. All the other groups before Snow Man and SixTONES were hard to access for international fans. There are indeed other groups from LDH for example, like Generations from Exile Tribe and such, but they're not idols. Yup, they're J-pop also, but they're not idols. The marketing strategy between idols and non-idols have a lot of differences. The marketing strategy of J&A is actually very effective. The idols are trained to become comedian-like, they're immaturity/childishness is preserved so that they can stay youthful for as long as they're idols, and they have a variety of skills so that people can see them everywhere-in dramas, movies, stage/musical plays, variety shows, news, sports, magazines, and wherever their name can appear-only that, social media and TH-cam is not included and that is the only down side. They can also be heard from the radio as they are also usually radio hosts. The Johnny's Jr. channel only opened in 2018, but it also didn't immediately have English subtitles. The language is the greatest barrier here. There are not much Eng-sub contents from J-pop. People don't understand the lyrics. This is one of the vital things. English sub to music videos is very important. I know this because one of the things my K-pop fan friends say to me is that, they love Kpop songs because they love the meaning behind the lyrics, they understand it, because it's subtitled.
