Hey, thank you! Lived in Kin for two years, learned a *little* bit of Lingala and listened to a *lot* of the music. Great to know what's being sung and what it means in a language that I know!
Oh mon Dieu quelle musique??? Une musique qui me fait pleurer. Elle me désarme.

Lead vocalist is none other than Luambo supported by a galaxy of ever admirable companions- Madilu, Aima and Lola Checain. The flow is soothing. Dr. Ogeto International
Mars 2020
Franco Liveth R.I.P Luambo . Franco roars through a guitar and voice . I cant stop listening since 1984 while i was growing . A long distance non-stop drive with a reverse play can make a good day in life.
I was born long after his death but I can't forget how I used to admire this music when it was playing in my father's Redio in the morning and am supposed to go to school. I even used to see it better if I leave school so that I would have my own Redio to listen this song and Kimpa Kisangameni, R. I. P. Franco
Yes this is taking me back to 1983, I had just finished A levels, the future was bright, there was optimism in the air and we used to dance to this music with a lot of flair and enthusiasm repeatedly.
Never found words to fittingly describe this therapeutic showstopper that gets better with each listening. Thank you, Franco and your indomitable team of musicians for gifting us with music that will last into eternity. Rest in eternal Heavenly Glory.
12 years before Franco died in1989 he converted to Islam and called himself AboubacarSiddikh .This is therefore the TRADE name of the Organisation responsible for collating or placing Francos Music on TH-cam. Therefore FRANCOS Music will never Go extinct. So all Rhumba enthusiastics should continue SUBSCRIBING,SIT BACK and enjoy our African Classicsl MUSIC.
Great music by the King. He is undoubtedly the greatest African Musician. With very little formal education he was able to organize a very big and we'll trained orchestra of musicians. RIP grand master
This beautiful hit song speaks for itself. It will be an insult to comment further. Thanks Aboubacar for sharing this and many other OK Jazz blockbusters.
Corona Virus has locked us in our houses, the government say we should remain in our houses as they fight the world pandemic. It's hard to observe the lockdown; being in the house all day is was really not easy until I remembered Franco can keep me company. I'm now in the house listen to this Man sing. Who played the rhythm guitar in this song, the rhythmist here was just a genius
Inashsngaza.
Just listen to Franco's soothing lead voice! And the back team. And the instruments esp the guitar! One can only marvel! He was a leader and an organizer in his own right.
This is the translation on what is going on in the world. Franco, why God took you this early. Your composition in music was is and it will remain on top. Am done am done ✅✅✅
This was Ok Jazz at its best. I remember this signaling another direction after the encolere seriis. Just when you wondered what next Makiadi would do, he would come up with a new mind blower
I adore Franco & his TPOK Jazz - great fan of all their music. Born early 1960s I grew up hearing it from mainly radio programmes in Kenya. Can someone elaborate on the structure of the instruments in this song i.e he guitar players : lead, rythm, solo etc
During the period when this song was played the common guitarist line up for TP OK Jazz was Gerry Dialungana (Solo), Franco (Mi-solo), Gege Mangaya (rhythm) and Mpudi Decca(bass). But remember OK Jazz had an array of other equally talented guitarists eg Falvian Makabi (bass) Maestro le poete Lutumba Simaro Massiya Ndomanueno (rhythm), Thierry Mantiuka (Mi-solo), Dizzy Mandjeku (Solos), Papa Noel Nono (Solo), Makosso (rhythm), Michelino Mavatiku Visi(solos) to mention but a few
Thanks Siddikh for this song, I;ve never heard this version before, long and uncut.I love Franco's guitar on the live version Utretch that I can't hear here. that's all
My love for African musicians form Bana ok, Tp ok jazz, madilu system and Ndombe Opetum will never end. As an African, I'm proud of them. Their music talent have captured the world's imagination in African music.
@Abdallah B. what makes you assume that Michael O. is a Kenyan? There is no doubt that Franco was/is not only a legend but also an icon of African music.
+john omuka - Yes a giant of African music indeed. An extraordinary artiste, in the Congo, in Kenya, in Tanzania, in Nigeria, in the Cameroon, in Ghana. Name the country and Franco touched them all with his music. Didn't know much about him until I started following AboubacarSiddikh. We are all very proud of Franco Luambo Makiadi and may his soul rest in eternal peace.
@@@johnomuka5311 Just because Michael has a name Otieno attached, then to him he is Kenyan, and anything Kenyan makes him want to puke. That is his mentality.

What is going on between us three
What is going on between the three of us
I give money for food
For the whole month
She still do not take me into consideration
She splits the money in 7 pieces
The first piece
She chooses new Gods
The second piece, she sends it to her mother
The third piece goes to women gathering
The fourth piece goes to her investment plan
The firth piece
She spends it on shoes)
The 6th piece, she spends it on jewelries
The 7th piece, she leaves a bit of it at home
Just thanks for the translation. Please give the whole. Listening a lone but I feel like in a club.
Hey, thank you! Lived in Kin for two years, learned a *little* bit of Lingala and listened to a *lot* of the music. Great to know what's being sung and what it means in a language that I know!
I like the saxophone.
Mawa!@!!

LASMINE LOVE
This guy here was a maestro. no one comes close to this, soothing tune.
Oh mon Dieu quelle musique???
Une musique qui me fait pleurer. Elle me désarme.
One of the greatest and sweatest hit by the legendary music maestro Franco.

Lead vocalist is none other than Luambo supported by a galaxy of ever admirable companions- Madilu, Aima and Lola Checain. The flow is soothing. Dr. Ogeto International
Even in 2024 he remains the undisputed King of Rumba music!
Mama na ye abota na mibali libwa ...... Mwana na mwana Tata
Ya solo? La rivarite? Surely?
Franco was truly a musical African Genius. Love his Music.
Amazing guitar magic starts at 12:45, see why Franco remains the undisputed King of Rumba music!
The magical change in tempo
Absolutely 💯 what a climax!so incredible.
Mars 2020

Franco Liveth R.I.P Luambo . Franco roars through a guitar and voice . I cant stop listening since 1984 while i was growing . A long distance non-stop drive with a reverse play can make a good day in life.
Mama na ye abota na mibali libwa! Eeeh! Surely? Mbongo napesa ye na Moye ye mosala kolia na butu! What? With who?
I was born long after his death but I can't forget how I used to admire this music when it was playing in my father's Redio in the morning and am supposed to go to school. I even used to see it better if I leave school so that I would have my own Redio to listen this song and Kimpa Kisangameni, R. I. P. Franco
Stay in school!!
Greatest Muscian of African 1982 I was in grade 1 but this music is timeless!!One Love from Zimbabwe
The guitar is soothing, combined with other instruments its make the song a stress reliever.LONG LIVE TPOK.
i cant comment further.
A bientôt Mon cher FRANCO .
So soulful.
You must write a book for our prophet Luambo please
❤❤❤
Absolutely true, ever old yet ever new. The guy is simply a legend. Rest in peace Franco Luambo Makiadi 🙏
Mayoo!Mayoo!Am finished, am dead. Ooh Franco Otoyo wuo Zaire, where is death?I want to fight it for taking Franco from us3.What a music. RIP LEGEND.
Jean Marie MVUBU MADEKO lll(j’ai voulu mettre
Franchement!!! Et vous avez tout dit.
Grande artista Luambo Makiadi
Merci beaucoup!👍
It will take 100 years to find someone who is like franco
Yes indeed, it will take a whole millennium!
U are right
And that will b the grand maitre reincarnated.
More than that
12 years before Franco died in1989 he converted to Islam and called himself AboubacarSiddikh .This is therefore the TRADE name of the Organisation responsible for collating or placing Francos Music on TH-cam. Therefore FRANCOS Music will never Go extinct. So all Rhumba enthusiastics should continue SUBSCRIBING,SIT BACK and enjoy our African Classicsl MUSIC.
Though I do not speak lingala, Luambo will remain my favourite singer. His songs are simply the best
You may be gone but your music Franco is just marvelous!!!
Great music by the King. He is undoubtedly the greatest African Musician. With very little formal education he was able to organize a very big and we'll trained orchestra of musicians. RIP grand master

This guy was something different. They say Dr. Nico was great and I say Franco was born with a guitar in his hands
This beautiful hit song speaks for itself. It will be an insult to comment further. Thanks Aboubacar for sharing this and many other OK Jazz blockbusters.
Franco Otoyo, the wizard, magician and professor of music. This music reminds me of my A levels days where francos music was the rave.
aboubacarsiddikh.kindly give the lyrics and translation of this beautiful piece
This song reminds me the late Army Chief of Staff Major General David Oyite Ojok
Franco no-go thumni gi chunye tee.
Absolute genius. 30 years since he departed and it sounds like yesterday afternoon!!
Humm was que souvenir
Corona Virus has locked us in our houses, the government say we should remain in our houses as they fight the world pandemic. It's hard to observe the lockdown; being in the house all day is was really not easy until I remembered Franco can keep me company. I'm now in the house listen to this Man sing. Who played the rhythm guitar in this song, the rhythmist here was just a genius
It does not matter. Once the tune was arranged, any
of the band members could play it.
Gege Mangaya I bet
If God could be given a second to live,He could have given the seem to Grand Meastrae
Used to steal my cousins album and play it when he is not in.Memories are made of this.
This music is nostalgic because I remember my youth hood. I was in firm two,in 1983 when when I first hard this LP in a certain wedding.
Inashsngaza.
Just listen to Franco's soothing lead voice! And the back team. And the instruments esp the guitar! One can only marvel! He was a leader and an organizer in his own right.
Just on its own class bro. This man was a music genius! So passionate about what he did
The well coordinated vocals brings out the best of "choir" in TPOK JAZZ,... before the instruments takes the tempo during climax
i need the full translation of this hit please
Trop kitoko!
In. K"LA we were. expressing. NRA bushwar
Franco will never die 🎉🎉
This is the translation on what is going on in the world. Franco, why God took you this early. Your composition in music was is and it will remain on top. Am done am done ✅✅✅
This was Ok Jazz at its best. I remember this signaling another direction after the encolere seriis. Just when you wondered what next Makiadi would do, he would come up with a new mind blower
Nowadays, i do lots of healthy evening walking..what a soothing and vitalising sound from my head fones..Franco comes.......
RIP franco I like the music
I will live to rem you dady
You've got it right! That's how Franco surprised his fans and foes alike
the Franco sweet voice will remain in our hears for many decades
Madilu system isn't noise j

I adore Franco & his TPOK Jazz - great fan of all their music. Born early 1960s I grew up hearing it from mainly radio programmes in Kenya. Can someone elaborate on the structure of the instruments in this song i.e he guitar players : lead, rythm, solo etc
Victo
,Mwambui koys,,

Type of genre is ochestra ,composing very superb uncomparable...
Thanks Siddikh for this song, I;ve never heard this version before, long and uncut.I love Franco's guitar on the live version Utretch that I can't hear here. that's all
The sound is incredible. So full, you fill the whole spectrum covered
Baba Franco, RIP.
My love for African musicians form Bana ok, Tp ok jazz, madilu system and Ndombe Opetum will never end. As an African, I'm proud of them. Their music talent have captured the world's imagination in African music.

See above please !
This man had the ability to compose songs for all ages.
Franco is the father of Africa music
FATHER OF CONGO MUSIC AND NOT AFRICA! MAY BE KENYA BUT NOT TANZANIA
@@@johnomuka5311
Just because Michael has a name Otieno attached, then to him he is Kenyan, and anything Kenyan makes him want to puke. That is his mentality.
Long live luambo even in death we love ur music. +254
U were a mentor to most musicians.
Rumba music takes me far . Taking lingala classes . Keep shining African Legends . Franco
