- Rustom Khurshedji Karanjia (15 September 1912 - 1 February 2008) was an Indian journalist and editor. He typically signed his reports as "R. K. Karanjia". He founded the Blitz, a weekly tabloid with focus on investigative journalism in 1941, and ran it for the next four decades. He also founded The Daily, a daily tabloid which was run by his daughter.
In the 1970s, he made a scathing attack on Sri Sathya Sai Baba through his writings. When someone pointed out that he had violated his own principle of self-investigation before commentary, he decided to visit Sathya Sai and see the truth for himself. This is an interesting and amazing story of how RK Karanjia came, saw and got conquered by the love of Swami.

Aravind Balasubramanyam's narration is simply marvellous every time. I t is as if we are seeing the happenings in person not just hearing but as if we are seeing it in realiyty.
When Swamy gave interview to R.K.Karanjia as Aravind said each question Karanjia used to begin asking and swamy used to answer even before the question was completed. One very wonderfull question was Karanjia asked swamy SWAMY then Swamy said yes karanji you are asking about my hair. You have a doubt whether it is natural or a Tofa (artificial wig). Then swamy told karanjia come on karanji hold my hair. Karanjia very shyly held on to Swamy's hair, then swamy said No Karanjia hold properly and pull my hair hard. To this Karanjia says if any person's hair would have been held so tightly as I held Swamy's hair they would have cried out in pain but Swamy just kept quiet. Then Karanjia gave up after being unable to pull swamy's hair then Swamy said Karanjia See and Swamy plucked one of his hair and showed it to Karanjia with its root and then left it on the floor. The hair changed into a cobra and slithered away out of that room. This is our Beloved Lord Sai. JAI SAI RAM.

Thanks, I never knew about. Amazing Baba, I went to Puta Parthi and ad great time with Baba. It was heaven.
I remember visiting Parthi as a child, multiple times and I was a kid who thought baba was like my grandpa. I cried a lot when I didn’t manage to give him the letters I wrote. I thought this is all wrong. But in my 2009 visit I remember just closing my eyes and saying I will give my best and concentrate and let’s see if baba will take the letter. He entered on wheelchair. I was shocked, I had no idea he had suffered a fall. But again I kept chanting in my mind, the moment I opened my eyes I say that his chair had stopped in front of us, I was sitting in 3rd row. And I who still was a sceptic, for me time stopped in a way. I could hear others chanting. And his face was glowing and within seconds my eyes were filled with tears, tears rolled like a waterfall. Why? I didn’t think about it. My mom told me that you should always look at his feet, his face sometimes is powerful. But I wondered what he said to me in that glance.
I was hardcore sceptic, I still doubted, I cried when he left his human form, felt like I lost my grandpa again. But I was still a sceptic I doubted him to be anything more than strong yogi.
10 years later I was in such a bad cycle of pain and depression, I just couldn’t bear more surgeries. I talked with baba, I told him to rescue me. Next day my mom is told by fellow devotee of Vibhuti in nearby village. We go there and one of the picture had words in it, the aunty explained how words appeared out of nowhere. They were “ why fear when I am here”. And I smiled. I knew he wanted to say that, he wanted to tell me that he was always with me. He knew by anxieties. I just had to trust baba. I just had to be disciplined & satvic.
The glance he gave was to convey that he is there for his devotees. We are connected through some energy channels for sure.

Sai Baba is an incarnation of God. When I was 11 months old in this life, I began to remember 8 of my past lives. I will not share them here, but I have remembered over 40 of my previous lives and a life on a star. As I got older, I started to remember a life in India where I lived in a small village. I was a Hindu monk, and I worshipped one of the forms of Shiva. I had white lines on my forehead and arms. I did not wear a shirt, just a white dhoti and a white shawl. When I turned 70, I began to use a begging bowl. I left the body at the age of 92, realizing that my mother to be, in my current life, had recently been born in 1920. I left the body after having a ceremony with my family. In 1979, 3 Hindu monks in orange robes appeared to me in a dream and told me that Sai Baba said that I was a Yoda, and they were there to take me to see a Sai Baba in the spirit world. I awoke, and there was no Sai Baba. The next night, I fell asleep, and the same 3 Hindu monks approached me again, but this time they took me to India to see Sai Baba, and he showed me all his powers or siddhis. I was awestruck. I have since had many miracles happen when visiting Baba in India and at my home. In 1997, I had my honeymoon with my wife, with friends in Mumbai. They took us to Shirdi. My wife discovered a photograph of me with Shirdi Sai Baba in the 1800's. Amazingly, I have in this life, the same face, and bodily features as the Hindu monk in the photo with Baba. Om Sai Ram.

Hi Aravind. Today I heard a Bhajan that has made me cry more times this year than anything else. It was just so beautiful, I realize the many, many times Baba has manifested in my life as a friend, protector, refuge.
I still cry thinking about how Swami has given so much. I've seen your video about pining for Swami and my heart wants Swami, but I don't know if He's responding at all.
I now realize his love and mercy in my life.
Just recalling many experiences where Baba has saved me, makes me tear up.
I wonder if he sees me, or at least knows how much I yearn for him.

There were many people and journalists who had been attacking Swami & had spread a lot of negativity about Swami . Khushwant Singh through his magazine ( Illustrated weekly of India) was such a journalist & V C of Bangalore University ( forgot his name) also used to attack Swami & they had influenced Rusy Karanjia ..Some foreigners had published a book on Swami " Baba of Night' which was all filled with negativity ..Rusy Karanjia was a big name & after the publication of his articles on Swami in the Blitz ...those all negative tongues got sealed ...

At one stage Karanjia had written about Swamy in Blitz and between writing in blitz and between having the interview with swamy there was a point where he had some different feeling of Swamy and came to know that swamy was coming to Mumbai or Delhi (I am not sure) one evening. Swamy's flight got posponed a few times and finally landed after 2 AM midnight and Karanjia was there waiting and totally shocked and surprised that at that late hour the number of devotees waiting to see swamy were nearly two to two and half lakh people. When we have more, it breeds pride, sloth and contempt for others. In pursuit of money, man descends to the level of the beast. Money is of the nature of manure. In that 30 mins I have seen lots of swami's miracles. I saw 1 very old book and there was photo of swami cut from corner.

To give examples of greatest conquests, one can use your own historical personalities who have been great than Alexandra the great himself. Because the land area they conquered was largest and they use to be called Chakravarti or Bhupathi titles. Vikramaditya Varma, Chandragupta maurya, etc.
