You see what that old man was doing. It's called servicing and maintenance. I bet he doesn't end up broke down out in a desert all the time. I bet he doesn't see his generators Flash and flame.

The thing that always puzzles me about mining claims in middle of nowhere areas. Are miners just particularly honorable people? I mean, try to find a cop in the CITY when someone’s just lifted your wallet or snatched your purse. Who’s keeping people from following a promising fault right off their claim? I can’t imagine there’s enough law enforcement way out there to catch people who aren’t just setting up shop obvious as circling buzzards for weeks. I hate the very idea of thieves ever since a valuable collection of cards got stolen from me, so I can’t imagine how it’d feel to return to start a season, only to find someone was on your claim for weeks while you were gone.

Its hard to do without leaving sighs, if you mined a sight the owner would notice and then others would be on guard

Bush telegraph, everyone looks out for everyone else! Quick in and out trips at night the claim jumpers might get away with a few times but eventually someone will spot them!👍🇦🇺

After they practically insulted the old timer by offering nearly half of what he wanted per foot of drilling whilst saying they'd cover Diesel AND Failures/Repairs AND he had that agreement on film I figured the old guy knew his machine had a couple of faults and he figured he'd deliberately set it up so that those faults would become failures and these fellas would have to pay for it.

Covering diesel and any fault costs is a pretty fair offer considering he wanted $350 and they offered 200?
