    I'm having the exact same issue with a misfire around 6500 rpm, but I'm not losing any coolant. The first thing I'm going to try is to swap in some colder brisk spark plugs and gap them to 034's spec. Please keep us updated if you figure out the cause

      I'm probably starting to run out of fuel. Gonna do some logging though.

    Hi friend, great video!
    Solved the problem by changing the coolers ? I have the same problem

      Not sure yet but my intake temps are back down. In my case some of the boosted air was getting into the small crack in the intercooler. Air pressure would come out of the divorced reservior when I opened the cap to check. I still need to gap my plugs before I log though. Gonna see if someplace local has the gapping tool for Iridium plugs today.

    How's the tire upgrade doing as far as performance?

    • @cmidas3396
      @cmidas3396  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The tires made a world of difference but to get full advantage I need semi-slicls or slicks.

    @cmidas3966 I had the same issue replaced plugs and gapped and ignition coils and kept having the issue. I pulled and replaced intercooler cores and they were burnt and leaking. Yours look much better than mine. Replaced those and haven’t had the issue again. I was at 49k miles the first time it happened and resolved in about 150 miles (driving to and from mechanic lol).

      I see. I do hear about injectors going bad. Logging would be the next best step to figuring it out.

      Was your misfire also happening under heavy acceleration at high rpm?

    • @cmidas3396
      @cmidas3396  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah that's only when I noticed it happening. Gotta do logs though to see if it's happening on the low end.

    What about the PCV Valve? I gap my spark plugs at 0.28 on the 3.0T

      Looks like my pcv may have been done by the previous owner. I don't burn excessive oil. Hopefully it will be fine until I get in there to do some other work.

    You should be able to replace those Intercoolers with FCP Euro Lifetime warranty. Thanks for the great video.

      @cmidas3396  ปีที่แล้ว

      I actually got them a while back so I'm not sure if the lifetime warranty would apply.

    I dont think the bkr9eix plugs came gapped that small. Mine came gapped at .032

    • @cmidas3396

      I can't remember exactly what the gap was but I checked. Not sure if APR pre-gapped them.

      @cmidas3396 Im not sure if any companies would set gap for you if the manufacturer didnt because then of something happens and tip breaks or something later they could be held liable.

    • @cmidas3396
      @cmidas3396  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @rafaelbatu7525 They most likely didn't. They came with the APR Ultracharger and they said to gap them to .026 I believe and I think these were .028 or something close. I have a another set of new plugs that I'll probably just gap and put in to save the headache of taking these out and gapping them.

    Hey so your numbers are pretty awesome 2.99 and 10.9 ! Im sure youve already done this but were can i find a list of your mods? Tunes and performance parts?

    • @cmidas3396
      @cmidas3396  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I listed then on the dragy leaderboard but you can see everything I've done in my vids titles basically. I got up to a 10.88 1/4 mile and 2.85s 0-60. Has more in it but that's when I started getting the misfires so gotta deal with that.
