Great video! Though, you made one mistake. Lucas was already cured of the mould, he got the antidote from umbrella in exchange for spying on the family. You learn this info at the salt mines I think and also in the dlc. If you read Lucas's journal in his room, you learn that he trapped a boy in the attic and left him to die. I personally do hold RE7 really near and dear to my heart because RE7 was my first ever Resident Evil game. A close friend of mine had given me his old PS4 back in June 2023 because he had it laying around and he offered to straight up give it to me for free because he thought I'd get more use out of it and give it a more loving home (at the time the only console I have was a Nintendo Switch and my PC was not good to say the least). Another reason he offered it to me was because I had talked to him around April of that year about Heisenberg from RE8/ Village and I was talking about how I thought he looked really cool and how I wanted to play the game just to get to know more about it. That friend had suggested that I should play RE7 first so I knew more as to what was going on and who Ethan was as a character. Let's just say I am now forever in debt to that friend because not only has he given me the opportunity to play so many more games I never could've imagined; a brief few to name is Yakuza 0, Assassin's Creed 4, Shadow of the Colossus, and even other Resi games! So basically, RE7 was the game that got me into Resident Evil as a whole and I honestly couldn't be more content with that. (Also my brother beat the final boss by just placing down three mines at once and that was honestly one of my highlights of playing the game).
The whole "Average guy/family man" aspect to Ethan Is why I find him to be the most relatable (And personal favorite) protagonist In the entire RE series
Being a long-time RE fan since 1998, I must say RE7 feels and plays almost exactly like RE1 remake. As much as I hate that Capcom has abandoned the classic fixed cameras in favor of over the shoulder view, I actually fell in love with the first person view in RE7. Makes you feel really intimidated by the monsters you face in close quarters. Though the stranded ship and salt mines were pretty bad in terms of visual design and overall ambiance so I didn't actually enjoy those areas one bit. DLCs were great as well, "21" surprisingly being my favourite DLC in all of RE games so far. RE7 is definitely a good old Resident Evil game in every meaningful way and, despite a few flaws, I loved it a lot.
My favorite was End of Zoe. I beat the Normal difficulty using only the gauntlet and, with exception of having to use guns on tripwires and gators, I beat Joe Must Die difficulty using only double gauntlets as well. End of Zoe on Joe Must Die difficulty is extremely hard, but there are fun challenging puzzles to figure out in that DLC! Great game!!!
great video bro!!! I finished the game's platinum yesterday on Ps4, I really liked the gameplay as well as the DLC’s, the only thing that bothered me was the difficulty of the boss fights, they weren't progressive. It took me a long time against Jack's last form and against Eveline did it the first time no problem??? hahah while on Madhause difficulty, despite everything I really liked the game!!
Exactly bro!! I feel the same way, even when it comes to the enemies. The molded get easier I feel as the game progresses because you learn how to deal with them. Thank u for watching bro🙏🏽
The last Jack fight on Madhouse was a PAIN IN THE ARSE!!! Holy crap, how I breathed a sigh of relief when I finally beat him!!! Chasing down all those eyeballs was a pain!!! Saddler on Professional on the RE4 remake was even harder!!! I caved and bought a rocket launcher before using Ada's rocket launcher 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Same here...with the exception of the last Jack fight on Madhouse 😳😳😳 My Heaven!!! Was he difficult!!! I breathed a HEAVY sigh of relief when I finally beat him and the game on Madhouse!!!
While this might not be the best game I've ever played in terms of technical aspects or overall quality, it's definitely my favorite game of all time because of the special memories and experiences I've had with it.

Glad to hear you admit you were wrong, but I can't understand how you didn't like it at first. That game is an absolute horror masterpiece!!! Its weird because at first time I really enjoyed this game. Maybe it was a one year acumulated hype and fomo because I played it in 2018 and everybody was praising (glossing over) the game, saying being one of the scariest things ever done and all of it. And since its release I wanted to give a chance but I did hold myself because in deep I knew theres something wrong with that. But well, after 6 years of my first playthrough and this obsession to platinum it so I wouldnt be unlegitimized because "I didnt play the game", I will say.... this game is mediocre at its best, and deffinetly the most OVERRATED Re game and one of the most overrated hoorror games of all the time. Its bashing because when you see deeply the game has a LOT AND LOT Of flaws and setbacks that people didnt notice because it was a "return to the roots" but made so much decision wrong, technical things like content, replay value, skipping or not cutscenes, the aestethics, the characters... just doesnt feel right. And even as a game, man, theres nothing special in it tbh, the horror is really meh and forced (equivalent to adult animated series forcing gore and sex jokes just to be sold as a mature funny thing), the story is really full of holes and incongruences overrall, the characters arent that good, the only one that saves a bit with lots of problems is jack baker, the replayability is basically null, the game has almost no content, play, finish it and done, the insulting is that having extra content that few days later the release were launched ad high paid price, and its not a worth 60 dol game overrall. Overrall its a mediocre horror game and a setback for the resident evil franchise. The more you reflect on it, the more flaws you see in the game, as a resident evil game and as a game overrall.
@@ZelaumTheHunter trust me bro I get you completely. Like I said in the video, the game is FAR from a masterpiece especially for a resident evil game. But playing with an open mind, I enjoyed the game for what it is ya know. And it was pretty scary to me personally 😂

Resident Evil 7 is not the best survival horror game ever made, not even close, but it didn't need to be, all it needed to do was prove that Resident Evil could go back to what it was after the action heavy direction the series went after RE4, and it did so with flying colors. It might not be the best game in the series (heck its not in my top 5), but without, the series might've died for all we know.
bro this video is just you stating how wrong you are about a clearly misunderstood plot of a game which features Ethan Winters when he was younger but more importantly, a twisted secret within a family leading to a more elaborate plan to turn people into a molded or deformed feature of the virus strain from the series that, clearly seen to be gruesome, showed us a new story style than we would usually get from Resident Evil.
@@DayTheLibrarianThe man himself replied.🗿Also, stick to liking video games. Indulging on lore and story drama takes a level of care for wanting to understand and observe the story on a substantial level.

I played re7 thinking it was gonna be like all the others. Half way through I took a break asking myself “Wtf did I pay for again? This is not what I was expecting. What tf did I just get done playing.” And then continued playing the next day 😂😂😂
I still hate the ship section. Loved everything else though
Honestly, I can see why you say that
I still don't think this game feels like RE and may be the only person who doesn't like it. I didn't really like 8 either, but it was an improvement.
I loved re7 it felt like a actual horror game were you had to watch your ammo and health unlike re6 with car chasing and fighting on rooftops 😒 and re7 story was amazing a man trying to save his wife from an evil corporation or virus and not only saves her in the end but also gets a pretty cool healing ability 😊
The characters and the level design are amazing and I love ethan and mia they were just regular people during the story and I loved playing as mia and seeing how she got to the baker mansion from her perspective amazing and the voice actors did a great job with the characters 😊😚
It still sucks comparing it to other games.
What "Other games?"
I Found This game By Accident When Looking on amazon and eBay And for Some Odd reason I Got I Think the Japanese version and That Version was scarier than the other version, But When I Kept Play Over and Over Again And got the other version It Got predictable The Jump Scars, I Know Were Coming but Then I Found a Little Unique Aspect What's Beyond Resident Evil 7,
So I Got Resident Evil 8 Of this year Now Resi 7 I Got In 2022 But Just 2 years Later I Got Resident Evil 8 It Was Not the Same It Still Had Some Scary Elements Like the Baby Scene,
But For Me Resident Evil 8 Was Harder and Less Scary Than Resident Evil 7 But I Still Recommend Them 7 More Than 8 But still and I'm Thinking About Getting Resident Evil 8 DLC Some Time Next Year
@@morganshortt5955 Bro that’s so crazy😂why is Japanese versions of anything always 10x scarier
Glad to hear you admit you were wrong, but I can't understand how you didn't like it at first. That game is an absolute horror masterpiece!!! Although as a longtime horror fan, there were parts in the game that were extremely gruesome even for a longtime Resident Evil fan such as myself.
What Mia does to Ethan in the beginning, for one!
And that twisted birthday party?!?!?😳😳😳
I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy!!!
Absolute horror masterpiece, though!!! I beat Marguerite on the first try without dying 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻😎😎😎
On Normal Mode🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 She kicked the everliving crap out of me on Madhouse 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
But when I finally did beat her and the entire game on Madhouse Mode, it was OH SO SATISFYING!!!😚👌🏻
Thinking of doing a third run with infinite ammo. Glad you like the game!!!
I hated Resident Evil 7. Then i played it.
@@MrGrae333 Seems like a lot of us did at first lol
I think it would be fine had it not been an RE game. I still have no interest in 7 or 8.
This is not a hate video, right?
Nah man, watch the video through you’ll see
I can't play this game. It gives me very strong motion sickness
Redemption story
I still don't think it is a resident evil game. Plus I don't like eathan as a character.
@@DayTheLibrarian I played it open minded, but its still a pretty flawed game overrall, I guess there are similar games way better and scarier than this, like cry of fear and is a free game
It's top 5 as of now
one of the best re games
I’m confused on what point you’re tryna make here lol I promise you it’s not that deep bro I just like video games
@@DayTheLibrarianThe man himself replied.🗿Also, stick to liking video games. Indulging on lore and story drama takes a level of care for wanting to understand and observe the story on a substantial level.
Nevermind some lore was put in and you mentioned that you liked the game after you played it. Sorry about that, I get uneasy when some gamers or channels make harsh takes on games because it doesn't fit into their regime but your level of observation is respectable enough for me to shut up and give you props just for replying to me.
@@dreamboigameplayz7207 it’s okay lol a lot of people think I’m bashing the game but then they watch the full video and realize I’m actually praising it
It's a good game from what I've seen, but not a good Resident Evil game.
Thats why you have 100 subscribers only😂
With only 12 vids I’d say that’s doing okay🤷🏽♂️watch the vid before hating my boy
