Great to find your channel. Looks an awesome boat so I’ll catch some earlier videos to find out more about it. Safe passage. Andy UK
I've done almost all of my offshore sailing single-handed. Most of the time on boats around 30 ft. I can't imagine doing that on a boat that big. My hats off to you sir. Best of luck.🙂
You could do it! Same skill set you use for the 30 footers- you just have to walk further between problems :)
mr~ how’s life?~you made breathtaking !
Thanks!
Boat looks awesome! Definitely have done quite a bit since you picked it up. Looking forward to some of the onboard footage underway.
That's the plan!
D for damage here :) Boat is looking fantastic. Great to see you enjoying yourself after such a stressful couple of years. Just delivered Roaring Forty, my Lutra BOC Open 40 to A Coruna Spain where the GSC starts next year. I have implemented a number of your tips over the years.
D4! :) Great to hear from you :) We might be seeing more of each other than you might have expected next year :) Marco says my start will be sometime early December ;) Where do you expect to be by then ??
@@CSMtheMariner great stuff, Marco announced today that GSC entry was now available for the Open 60 beasts. Good shakedown for that west-about record :).
Fair winds!
Torqeedo outboard..... Big mistake very big mistake?
the torqeedo is absolutely brilliant and I say that without any arm twisting from the manufacturer - however on this last trip I did discover a problem- when it came time to get the unit out of its soft storage bags after a heavy passage at sea I discovered the plastic propellor had broken in half.. hence not being able to use it - so the learning is - you HAVE to have a spare prop on hand if this is going to be a long term choice - it’s not like on a normal outboard where you can be a little rough with it- the torqeedo needs babying a little.
