The lions are different this year than last year, they play with a confidence that isn’t matched outside of the KC…such a united team, and special moment for the NFL. This took time, and you could feel the momentum coming two years ago.
I can't help but feel a great deal of sadness watching the Lions succeed without Calvin Johnson. He gave his soul to that building and I wish he could see the ring he was owed. Megatron never even got a playoff win..
The only thing the Lions have ever feared in Greenbay is simple, officiating!. The Lions have learned, never leave the game, in the hands of the officials.
How about you win a superbowl first? Lions are historically a poverty franchise. Why would the packers fear you? Stop talking about calls when I've seen more than a few go your way.
@FTom-cr4bm During the Sanders era, you could count on one hand, the number of bad calls against the Lions. The NFL declared war on the Ford family, the day after Barry Sanders retired. The other owners were pissed off, the Lions didn't let Sanders sign with another team. Sanders had three good years left in him. The other owners always had a gurantee sell out, when the Sanders and the Lions came to town. People wanted see Sanders live. The bad officiating against the Lions started during the Joey Harrington era. It became fever pitch, and beyond the pale, during the Stafford era. Greenbay was one of the biggest beneficiaries. Who can forget the hail Rogers play at Ford field. The game had ended, Lions won. The officials called a phantom face mask call on defensive edge rusher Delvin Taylor. Greenbay was given another play. How about the Trey Flowers game? They didn't even try to hide those bullxxxx. calls. One game in Greenbay, they called a 62 yard interference call aganst Nevin Lawson of the Lions. It was clearly uncatchable. The NFL sent the usual apology letter to the Ford family admitting these calls were ridiculous. Mike Holmgren admitted to Sports Illustrated, after his Seahawks were screwd over, in the Super bowl, at Ford field, against Pittsburgh. He said, He finally realized how crappy it felt to screwd over by the officials. He admitted when he was head coach in Greenbay, the Packers were the "teachers pets" of NFL officials. Aaron Rogers admitted he knew he had two gurateed wins before the season started (Detroit)

@SkipWankman ok and that is what was mentioned on the video what WASN'T mentioned was that the Packers rolled into Detroit later that season and spanked Dat azz.
As a Packers fan I can say the Lions are a great team. It won’t be easy but will definitely be a great team. Both teams are so complete offensively and defensively. Go pack go.
Nice to see a Packers fan giving Detroit credit, the Packers are our biggest threat in the NFC North looking forward to getting another W in Green Bay this Sunday. As much respect as I do have for Green Bay win or lose this weekend Detroit is still the team to beat in the North, NFC, and NFL. Chiefs are undefeated but Detroit is playing the best football in the NFL right now. Especially considering we are missing a starting linebacker, both starting defensive ends and a starting slot CB, but we still keep finding ways to win.

I’m really glad she mentioned Brad Holmes the general manager. I always worry that he doesn’t get enough credit for getting the right people and players to totally change the culture of the Lions. He is such a shrewd judge of talent in the players they have drafted on his watch.
@slotowntrev Hutchinsons absence will be absolutely felt in this game and the second half of the season, can't depend on your offense to continue putting up points like they are, it's not sustainable.
@ bro no worries we will see on Sunday. May the best team win. I pray there are no injuries on either team. Ill be back on this thread on Sunday just keep that same energy.
@slotowntrev it'll be a close game 6-7 or 23-24 if Love plays. If Malik Willis plays it's potential blowout for either team but Packers defense edges this one out due to our x factor player is playing in Xzavier McKinney but the Lions would of been the DPOY if not for the injury in AH, is out for the season.
