DEMO Hartke HD508 500watt 4x8 HyDrive Combo - Andy Irvine

Hands down the best sounding and performing bass combo on the market in this price point ($699.00). Small & light enough to be super convenient (49lbs), while being loud, tight, & clear enough to easily do most real world gigging. Loaded with excellent ease of use and important useful features for the modern bassist. Big Win for Hartke on this combo - I give it Five Stars!

Unfortunately, Hartke chose to be a bit missleading about power in new heads and combos. The 500W are peak, not RMS. This is from the manual: "Rated Output Power 500 watts Peak / 250 watts RMS". Same is for the HD500, KB12 and KB15. Shame.

Great demo. I have the HD500 2X10 and absolutely LUV it. Can't crank it more then about half way. Really Loud and crystal clear. Oh and it's a hundred bucks less than this one. Look forward to your follow up vids on this amp.

This sounds great. I like that it's a full power standalone combo. Not many of those around. If I wanted an extension speaker with a combo, I'd get two cabinets and a head instead.

nice and tight, they balanced it all well,. Them smaller speakers really, have a lot of definition. all is clear, tight, punchy and still holding the bottom well, Nice, good price too, ha,, ha, ha I almost said articulate! I had to sell my amp to move, kinda tired of the Ol' Ampeg stuff, might look into this when the time comes. half the weight of my 4 by 10 stuff and rated 100 watts more! ( always like the sound of Hartke stuff)
