Spending the Day at Margaritaville Beach Resort in the Bahamas | Royal Caribbean Specialty Dining!

- (Part Two) In today's video we continue our weekend getaway aboard Royal Caribbean's Mariner of the Seas. This is our port day in Nassau, Bahamas! We wake up with breakfast delivered to the room as we watch the Disney Wish pull into port before making our way off the ship for the afternoon. Next, we walk over to the Margaritaville Beach Resort for a relaxing day right on the beach which was absolutely amazing because we rented a huge sun bed for the day. Trust me, this hotel is a hidden gem for your next port day in Nassau. A few hours later we make our way back on the ship through the brand new cruise terminal. After that I walk around the ship for a bit to explore before and after dinner. We end the night with dinner at Izumi for a hibachi meal which was also amazing. Every time I see you cruising on Royal Caribbean I think, wow, what a nice ship, and then I see the Disney ship and get blown away.
Then I see the price of a Disney cruise and I choke on my coffee 😂
Disney ships are beautiful. Very different experience. Probably not everyone's cup of tea, but excellent for families. Very expensive!

I stayed at the hotel in key West years ago and it was very small. My hubby used to work at the one in Orlando and it's huge!

👋yes the new Cruise terminal is beautiful. Love that Margaritaville also. Nassau sure has changed. That hurricane beat them up. Lots have closed. But it's becoming all new. Hard rock is even closed.

Just a note - Margaritaville Resort was easy for us to get to on mobility scooters, as well.
I was just there when I sailed on mariner a few weeks ago. We found out that Jimmy died while at his resort 😅 it was odd but the resort was amazing!

That seems sensible to use your money wisely. Royal Caribbean has a high disregard to the inclusive cruising experience with the continuing extra costs. I don’t like the approach of adding costs for fun activities, room service and other items onboard. The Nickle and dime approach moves me to another cruise line for my next cruise.

RCCL is the best cruise line in my opinion. You get the best of both worlds. Good price, plenty of activities and good entertainment. Love Disney but no way would I pay what they are asking for a cruise.

Just for information reason that beach is free if you enter from the side and not thur the resort 😊
Did you reserve the lounger ahead of time?
Nope. I walked right on the beach and I asked if they had anything available and they had a few options.
Hey Dev, did u have to pay to be at the beach or could anyone go? We cruise in 2 weeks.
Anyone could go because there is a public beach literally right next to the resort. If you want any type of lounge chair or sun bed you do have to pay.
