If you ever go on a boat in Alaska, some of the boats are big with top houses, and the usual fishing boat sizes are 42" and have a cabin where the crewmen sleep in or just in general hangout (might've gotten that measurement wrong 😆) with no top house ( btw a top house is on the flying bridge and pretty much is a shelter where the captain steers and has all electronics and a bunk to sleep in) along with that every boat has an anchor to anchor up in a area for the night depending on the weather if it's bad some captains go to the harbor to tie up and some just go through with the weather. But a boat can go rock or go up and down with the waves.
